For those that have a viagra prescription is it important to store the pill in the container before you use it?

I ask because I want to be able to carry a pill on me when I think I might get lucky like in my secret pocket of my pants but im afraid this might make it so its not as effective.

The manufacturers of sildenafil citrate (brand name "Viagra") state that the tablets should be stored below 86 degrees Farenheit. Since body heat is normally 98.5 degrees, if you carry them against your body very long you would be diminishing the effectiveness of the Viagra.

well the last two responses seem to contradict the first one. Are you guys all viagra users? how can one person say it will still work the same and others say it wont?

and yes cialis might be a better option for me

The manufacturer of Cialis states in its literature that the tablets should be stored at room temperature (normally that's 68 degrees Farenheit) and to keep it away from heat and moisture. Otherwise expect diminished effectiveness. That's essentially what the manufacturer of Viagra says.

Incidentally, magic7, if you can't review and evaluate the responses you get here for credibility, don't question the responders who write to you...go search for accurate information yourself.

I buy the 100 mg Viagra, because the cost is the same as for the 50 mg. I cut them (and they don't cut well). I estimate the number of milligrams for each piece, wrap them in a small piece of paper, label the milligrams. I put all but the one I want to carry back in a tin box in a drawer. I often have sufficient results from less than 50 mg. I carry one (wrapped) in my change purse. If you get lucky frequently enough, deteriorization should not be a problem. I find that sublingual (under the tongue) provides quicker action. This is significant if you have had a fatty meal recently, because absorption can be delayed by stomach contents. Taste is not pleasant. A Tic-Tac or something after letting it dissolve under the tongue is recommended, especially if you are planning to swap spit or suck tongues.

keep in my mind that carrying a prescription drug without proof of prescription can get you into trouble. I think if wrapped in paper and alum foil would be the best.

between viagra and cialis, I picked cialis.

put it in one of those small altoids tins...theyre even blue!

Just buy one of those little key chain pill bottles. It's about an inch and a half and big around as a dime.
