Viagra/Cialis for recreational use

A question for everyone....

I've only used viagra, Now I'm considering Cialis.

From your experience which one is more effective?

I don't know that I'm a candidate for Viagra or any Rx treatment. I'm 48, and have no erection problems. I've always had an extremely strong sex drive and can fuck 5-6 times per day.

Recently, I start having erection problems after I've cum twice.

Here's where it gets tricky. My partner is hitting her premenopausal sexual peak and is insatiable. We fuck 10-15x per week. No complaints here and I've always been the more horny in our relationship.

This leads to us having frequent fuck fest benders. We'll take a weekend trip and spend 3-5 days having sex.

At this point, I am starting to have trouble getting hard for that 3rd round ..or the 1/2nd round of day #2 or day #3.

My erection is noticably less rigid.

I'm in pretty good shape and diet is relatively clean.

I've contemplated getting a Rx for some of these weekend extravaganzas. In January we're celebrating a significant milestone and will be going away to an island for a week. I'm sure it will be non stop sex, so I'm wondering if some boner pills might be good for occasions like that.

You don’t need an Rx you can get great generics online at a very fair price. I love them for rec use

With sildenafil if I take a large dose I get a headache. A smaller dose (which works perfectly for me) give me a feeling of some pressure in my sinuses/jaw. It's fine, but it's not the most pleasant. I've thought about trying Cialis, but I'm a little concerned that it's "half life" might make the similar side effects just last longer.

For me, the larger dose of sildenafil didn't provide any real enhanced sexual experience. With a small dose I'm still rock hard and can easily outlast my wife. The larger dose seemed to go to the head on my shoulders and caused increased pressure there.

Cialis has the stuffy nose side effect too. But it is mild or none at low dose, 5mg or less.

Be careful with boner pills and cardiovascular issues. I know of two guys who went to the ER after using them.

I have experienced headaches. Been experimenting and on vacation tried 2.5mg daily in the mornings for a week and did have persistent headaches while on it. After a few weeks off, I have come back to it on the weekend with 5mg and no headaches now. Perhaps my body is getting used to it. Certainly my penis is seeing the positive effects still, with immediate erections. Getting hard right now by just writing this.

I had an allergic reaction to something in one of the dissolving combination ED meds. I tried another brand and it works really well. I don’t get as stuffy, get hard easily, and the effects last for about 3 days even though it days. A few times I’ve found myself leaking in my pants which has never happened before. That was an unexpected bonus.

I’m 34 and was prescribed Sildenafil a few years ago when I started having erection problems. I found that I wasn’t really getting hard and was managing a softer semi erection that didn’t get harder when having sex.

I started to take it when having sex and found that I was able to get what I can only describe as a rock solid erection. I felt “fuller” in my shaft as well. After orgasm I found I was still hard and could go for a second time not long after. If I didn’t have sex straight after I found the erection went away about 15/20 minutes later. Also found out that I could get erect maybe an hour or two after I was soft after sex (probably due to it still being in my system).

I stopped taking them in 2022. I have taken the odd one when I’m going to have more than “quick sex” and it’s a longer more intimate time.

An update after a few months of using 5mg of Cialis usually a few times every weekend. On vacation, I’ve noticed headaches are largely gone now. Taking 5mg in the morning with water does the trick. My penis is half hard most of the day. I’ve noticed a significant bulge in my shorts and pants now that is getting quite a few looks. What I’ve just recently noticed though is a significant increase in precum. I am creating wet spots all over my underwear. At the hotel spa yesterday I rolled over for the massage therapist and had a huge hardon for a while, and in the steam room I was dripping precum. I’ve also noticed a huge increase in cum volume when having sex. Needless to say, Cialis has been so great so far. Anybody else out there seeing an increase in precum on Cialis?
