First of all, what did your issues with the gay community have to do with anything being discussed? While you may not "fit in" with the "gay community" at least you don't have to pay us to be in your presence, as you would with these men.

I think they are referring to your need to attack the gay community. When you venture out and start meeting more gay men, you will see the variety of people, beyond the steriotypes you seem to detest. Chasing trade isn't a healthy substitute for your desire to feel connected.
