Firstly, I know it's not your job to educate others - please feel free to tell me to fuck off, if you want to, but I've been watching this site for a while and it occurred to me that this may just be the forum to ask a few questions. (Twitter is a bloody war zone on this issue.)

It's such a sensitive topic that I've paused here for a while, wondering how to word it. (Really don't want to offend.)

To women: do you believe, feminists like Julie Bindel are way off the mark when it comes to equating transwomen, who self ID, as a threat to women's rights? If so, why?

Baring in mind the varying strains of opinion on Self ID, what do you wish people would understand about your experience of being transgender?
