Beauticians are a scam mostly, skincare actually isn’t that complicated it involves good hydration 2-3 litre a day, healthy lifestyle as in no drugs or drink and perhaps a moisturiser once a day. Those that spend a ton on beauty products are being conned. They just put some toners on the skin to make it look all shiny, they hide problems rather than fix them.
