I didn’t know where to post this since there’s no general question directory.

I really like this guy a lot but I didn’t at first. I was head over heels with this one guy so obviously I ignored him since I was seeing someone at the time. Things didn’t work out and I want him but he’s mad at me.

He’s still single too and I want to win him over.

I’ve tried to text him but he ignored me. I don’t think he’s interested anymore and I hate it. I don’t like him because I can’t have him, I genuinely want him and it’s beating me up bad!

Should I just move on? Or try to win him over again?

All you can do is tell him you were dating someone ..

But under no circumstances .. do you ever ignore a friend for anyone.. or any reason

A true friend be there for when or if you break up with your bf/gf and then go from there ..

Best you can do is apologize .. and hope mend that part of your friendship before proceeding on

You've said all you can say. It's time to move on. He probably thinks that he's not going to be someone's second choice or backup plan.

In a year or so you might get another shot but it would be a long shot. He's clearly not interested enough to give you a second chance anyway. So it probably wouldn't have worked out any way.

He wasn’t a backup plan. I was seeing someone so I wasn’t gonna be flirty with someone while I was in a relationship.
I’m crushed because he really liked me.

Yes, I understand. I am just saying how he has probably interpreted your explanation and why he hasn't bothered to even reply to you.

That's life, whether it's a job interview, a property purchase or a boy; timing is everything and there's nothing you can do but roll the dice again and hope for a better outcome next time.
