I suspect the guys who left Belami for Onlyfans and similar sites will eventually regret it. First, on Onlyfans they will be entirely responsible for generating their own content. It's difficult to keep it interesting when you're essentially a studio or streaming platform with one "star" (who is also the director, camera operator, human resources director, etc.). Of course, there are collaborations, but again, you are responsible for finding collaborators with whom you can, well, "collaborate." Second, if you are the CEO, COO, CFO, CIO, and every other C, you will eventually burn out. If you pay someone else to do those jobs, then you just won't make enough money to make it worthwhile. Third, if you stay with Belami and are responsible, (show up on time, do your job, etc.), then when you start aging out of doing porn, there are other jobs within the company that you can do at least while you figure out what you want to do with your life. Finally, (re. Onlyfans), the product is just not as good as the videos that Belami produces. The camera work is just terrible, and there is almost no creativity. Of course, the problem with a lot of these young guys is that at least some of them are either not all that bright (sorry, but that's the impression I get) or are so dazzled by the fame, travel, etc., that they think they will either be able to do porn forever or will make a fortune doing it. As someone said previously, Belami seems to be about the most reliable porn studio/streaming platform. I get the impression that they (a) don't take advantage of their actors/models; (b) give some of them the opportunity to take other jobs in the company; and (c) maybe even help them think about how to transition to a life beyond porn. But without doubt, Belami delivers the most reliable "product." Their only real competitor was Sean Cody, and not it is a shadow of its former self. Sorry for this long dissertation.
