I agree with you. I don't think the story needs to be true, I actually prefer reading fictional stories (because they tend to be better written than actual recollections by people who are not writers). But, even being fictional, the story must be believable otherwise it won't turn me on. I write fictional stories and my main concerns are writing something that makes sense and could happen in real life.
As a matter of fiction, it appears to be a common fantasy. As a matter of fact, a "straight guy being seduced" is not so "straight."
