Yes - He might be self-hating which is why he is preaching BS. But that's why I feel sorry for him. I guess he has had some very fun gay sex and now he is tormented by it. In his mind maybe he is trying to stop others from what he suffers... Obviously I think he is wrong, but not "evil" - just seriously misguided. So I have compassion for him. I'm not Christian so perhaps genuine compassion comes easier for me.

There is nothing shady about him at all. He managed to act in 2 Netflix sci-fi episodes if that qualifies though, hahaha. He wishes he could do more of that, but it's just not viable (see below). I was excited to see this when it first came out...two guys whose scenes I really liked...but IMO, unfortunately them together in this scene was a real disappointment
