To give context on the options:

Pretty boy: it's all about a pretty face, usually a boyish look, kind of a twink but not necessarily, also can be any age (Matt Bomer is a pretty face at 44 years old) A male model with a slim body and pretty face fits here (Harry Styles, Timothee Chalamet, Jaden Smith, Korean Pop idols)

Fitness hunk: it's all about the body, gym bodies, big muscles, or being very fit (Chris Hemsworth, Dwayne Johnson "The Rock", Michael B. Jordan, most Instagram fitness models)

Dapper mature gent: A man who is classic handsome, manly, and confident, usually older than 40, but can be younger with a classic mature look. It's all about looking neat and elegant, think classic James Bond (John Hamm, Idris Elba, Benedict Cumberbatch, Henry Golding)

Rugged handsome: Very masculine, manly in an outdoorsy way, and even if good-looking, he is not "pretty", he is handsome, and sometimes with flaws. Probably has a beard or is hairy but not necessarily. He looks good but effortless, laidback, and casual (Jason Momoa, Gerard Butler, Joe Manganiello, Charlie Hunnam)

Alternative to hippie guy: Very broad category but is mostly about guys who have an edge, men who do not conform to typical masculine expectations or conventional aesthetics. Think of a lot of tattoos or piercings or long hair (straight, curly, or dreadlocks), or more gender-neutral clothing, or emos, hippies, punk, etc. (Post Malone, Johnny Depp, Lil Wayne, Jared Leto, most rock/punk/alternative musicians)

Average Joe: Just guys who are average-looking, they can be attractive but not in a very "mainstream" way, they even can be attractive just to you. Usually, they are not muscular or fit, mostly average, from skinny to "dad bods" to chubby. (Adam Sandler, Zach Braff, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Peña)

In order: dapper mature/ruggedly handsome, alternatitve, average joe/fitness hunk; top esthetic: handsomeness/strong features; major considerations: confidence (not to be confused with arrogance), mystery, presence.

I prefer mature/stronger features to the boyish look and physicality not on the extremes either in slimnness or stoutness, though lean a bit right of that center. Whereas I like fit men, it can become too much for me really quickly. "Dad bods" can be hot; in fact, I prefer Chris Pratt in "Dad Bod" mode. I have found several chubbier/chubby guys attractive - possibly influenced by my being slim/thin most of my life until more recently, usually of the mature variation, often of an ethnicity with a more machismo culture (Greek, Arab, etc.), with a decent amount of body hair. Only more recently have I found any fitting the "twink" look attractive, and that is still hard to come by. But ultimately, body type, weight, look aside, an extremely important factor to the type of men I find attractive is how they carry themselves and their confidence, which is ultimately why dapper mature/rugged handsome men start and end at the front for me.

average joes, for sure, though my favorites are the ones who look like they were jocks in high school/college but have since "let themselves go." y'know, the thick former rugby player. maybe he tosses the pigskin around with the boys from the office on the weekends and they spend the whole time trying not to stare at his huge, bouncy ass

my 'go to' is always the fitness hunks, as 1) they show determination to create their bodies, so for me that means they are capable of commitment, 2) i'm into 'healthy' part of which is keeping in shape and being with someone into 'fitness' helps me keep me motivated 3) i like firm hard round asses and big thighs, generally that only comes with a guy being a fitness hunk, along with nice pecs and biceps i like hard bodies!! and finally 4) i really like the aesthetic of a guy in shape. Doesn't have to be 'massively' built but definition is good for me.

that all said if they then don't have the personality to go with that particular look we'd never make a relationship from just the look alone.

It is a toss up between Average Joe and Rugged Handsome to me. I've dated all types of men with all types of looks. The most important thing was ALWAYS their personality and their sense of humor. Sense of humor always wins my heart. But I know, it is the looks that draw you in to start with.

Fit, slim, nice or pretty face, great smile, no body hair above the belly button, hairy legs, athletic type. Trey Cunningham the hurdler is my latest. Norwegian pole vaulter Sondre Guttormsen joined the list earlier this year. Of porn stars, Bastian Karim and Ruslan Angelo. Actors Jannick Schümann, Tom Holland, George Sear (from Love Victor).

Walking down the street I see guys of all shapes and sizes, ages and colors and yet not all give me that little twinge of sexual excitement. The way a guy walks for example can be a huge turn-on, a cocky confident sort of walk. Then there is the smile, sort of shy but sweet, not all guys have it, some to knowing. Then the eyes and chin. So it's complex, but invariably I go with some guy who has different attributes, one that has mystery about him, that plays by the moment, doesn't boast about size, leaves the details of the sexual encounter to work themselves out.
And then there are days when I see nothing, not even one little thing that "twinkles"

Usually I'm into Bear/Cubs and dad bods.
Yeah dad bods make me stiff and wet. Something about that slight belly, dad jeans, baseball cap, slightly rugged thing makes me super ready to go. You wonder what’s in those loose fitting jeans and how you can get you hands and so much more inside of them. Goodness let me not go there. Yum

I chose the Average Joe as, at least for me, it’s not always about the looks. Sure, I have my types, but that’s plural. But if I’m going to have sex with a guy, even if it’s only a one-time thing, he’s got to have an attractive personality and at least be able to hold a conversation. I think this quote from someone else’s profile on one of the apps sums it up: “If your phone is smarter than you, move along.”

I voted for rugged handsome, but I was very unsure. I like the simple Average Joe type of guy as well, I think a lot of times the simplicity actually wins on the long run

This for general features and overall look. As for the physique, I'm really into bears and cub

Closer to fitness hunk but also love lean to thick guys as well, as long as they are smooth. Shaved pubes is my number one turn on, and if they groom/shave/wax the rest of their body hair below the neck I am so happy.

lately I’ve coined the term “beard and bald” for hot thick muscular guys who have a beard and are hairless from the Neck down.

so happy there are so many types of men so there are guys out there for everyone!
