Honestly, I don’t see the point in prosthetic penises. If the actor is unwilling, or the penis isn’t crucial to the plot, then film around it. Anything else is for titillation only, and then you might as well just have the actor hold a dildo.
Unless the actress’s titties aren’t up to the performance (like in the Pam and Tommy Hulu series, you don’t see actresses offered stand in titties.

Usually it's for continuity reasons. You can guarantee the prosthetic is gonna look the same through all shots, but real penises can look different in a short period of time for a number of different reasons, from adrenaline to temperature

That's an interesting point about prosthetics always looking the same, but I still maintain that if a show wants to show full frontal male nudity they should show the real thing, whether it looks the same from scene to scene or not - that in itself adds to the realness. I read somewhere that Mike White wants to counteract the gratuitous female nudity that's always been abundant in TV and movies, but almost never was that nudity fake, so why should the nudity he features be anything but real? If you want to make a statement, make a statement.
