Who Pays For Porn?

I'm very curious about this... Who pays for (premium) porn? I mean, most of us are subscribed to one or more VOD services like Netflix or Amazon Prime... But what about paying for porn? Pornhub Premium seems to be interesting, but also big sites like Brazzers and Reality Kings... They exist and keep creating content, so I guess that they have paying customers.

I bumped on a site where they give coupons/discounts on such subscriptions, and I'm curious if its worth the money...

But id never pay for porn, its enough free stuff out there.

Last time I paid for porn it was only available in magazines or video tapes. Never put a dime out for it on the intertubes as there has always been enough free smut out there than any man could possibly have enough spilled semen for.

Never thought I’d be the kind to pay, but I am. I recently had a couple of weeks off work at a time Melbourne was in full lockdown. My boyfriend was working, so It was pretty much state enforced masturbation.

I think with the trend of OnlyFans more people will start paying for content as long as it is not widely distributed. The fee has to be smaller as well like a microtransaction.

It depends on the content. I'm remember the days of going into adult/sex shops and buying mag's & vhs tapes, also sending away in the backs of mag's for certain vhs & mag's as porn wasn't so readily available online, even today there's a movie I really enjoyed watching in the 90s isn't available to watch free online. I think the onlyfans can be good if it's a fair price & you can interact with your favourite model & get personalised content.

Last time I paid for porn was when I bought Hustler magazine or one of those Readers Digest-sized porn rags with stories. And that was before the internet.

Today, I would never pay to watch porn. There are lots of websites which are free. I personally gravitate to amateur or self-made porn. I'm not really interested in the beautiful models acting in the videos. I'm interested in real people fumbling around, enjoying each other, etc.

I've tried in the past when I've had Black Friday specials to buy a subscription to a site like William Higgins because they have so much content and it's full length. But unfortunately they don't take American domestic credit cards. For some reason they were blocked from charging those accounts so you can never set up a membership properly unless you know a workaround a credit card issue.

I think the last time I paid for porn was when I bought a playboy magazine 40 years ago. In my 20s (30 years ago) I was getting plenty of action, so I didn't need it. For the last 20 years, I have watched porn for free online. Like many others, I can't see paying for it when I can get more that I could ever consume for free. I already waste enough time watching it for free and sometimes have to turn it off because I get tired of it and just can't watch it any more.

I have actually spent money on it for the first time because of OnlyFans. There have been a couple of girls I wanted to support directly, just as I might do other types of content-creator. I’m not saying it’s ever been great value, but it’s menial amounts of money, like buying them a couple of drinks. Also I believe that porn is starting to have an impact on societal norms now and it’s good to put your money where your mouth is once in a while.

I think I first beheld online porn in 2005 and found myself clicking through a few site previews - looking back at the quality of the content back then it seems crazy what sites were charging $30/month for. Just making money off guys with compulsive buying habits and bottomless wallets I guess.
