Why Men Prefer To Wear Swimsuits That Are So Long?

Now that summer is around the corner, I would like to ask a question about fashion. Why most men, especially straight men, prefer long-board shorts and usually dislike shorter swimsuits, no speedos, just shorter swimsuits overall?...I understand that's a preference, but when being asked to wear something shorter, some guys just hate any short or swimsuit that shows too much skin, as if showing some thigh is a no-no, and they react as if it was inappropriate, ridiculous, or call it "gay". I'm genuinely curious.

To me trying to swim in board shorts is like trying to swim in a pair of blue jeans. My swim trunks are usually mid thigh length. Snug but not tight. I have been known on occasion to wear a mens brief style trunk, but not often.

All depends where I am as to what I wear. Nude beach to family beach, adjust to the location. When I do wear a suit it is usually a tan thru suit, either racer style or loose fitting mid thigh liner less short, which by the way my wife says when I stand sideways to the sun she can clearly see cock and balls thru the very light material. Something to keep in mind that I didn't know. Will have to be careful about that in the future.

The long shorts and swimsuits, are ridiculous. As is the supe long basketball shorts. I prefer shorts with a 5 - 7" inseam. Longer than that bugs me.

In my part of the world, the super long baggy basketball shorts that almost go to the ankles couples with knee high white socks seems to be the fashion of the day.......silly

It's about comfort, I personally don't like wearing anything constrictive around my cock and balls, I like to let them hang freely. It's why I wear boxers and not briefs.

Not everything has to do with sex or not wanting ppl to see your dick.
