Why most Latino men tend to shave all their body hair?

It's a shame that the younger ones are going hairy again. It's not an easy thing to do for men to normalize shaving their bodies. The guys in the late 90's and 2000s had to be the brave ones to go for it and show the world that they could be MEN and still shave. Now the younger guys are throwing that opportunity away. Same shaving trend happened in the US at the same time but things got hairier in the 2010s. Luckily, it's still mixed and hasn't completely gone away. In fact, there's a big trend again with young gym rats shaving their legs again in the US. Tiktok is full of young men doing it!
In my opinion, I don't think shaving or manscaping is going to disappear. Many guys are still doing it, and there's a whole market for manscaping products. I think what is happening is that things are getting even. About 15 years ago, younger guys were shaving/manscaping and older generations were the hairy ones. Now things are mixed, it's not so much an age thing anymore, and just a preference. I personally don't think that's a bad thing, especially because I am on the body hair side.

Well said Jay. I hope my comment did not come across as negative.

I agree that it's not going away but also that shaving any body part should be up to personal preference. I love to be shaved (everywhere) and I almost always gravitate towards men that do higher levels of manscaping. But I do not find anything wrong with "man hair". Some guys look amazing covered in fur.

I do wish that we could all just get over modern gender norms and accept that men can be either way. If your son wants to shave his legs, don't call him girly. And if your bro has a hairy back, don't shame him into wearing a shirt on the beach. We are not on different "teams". We are all just MEN. And being a man is pretty fucking awesome. lol

I kind of like it when guys have really hairy legs and armpits and shaved pubes lol.
That works too. Whatever turns us on, there’s so many guys out there… big world

Personally, I don't know how common it is. I am a very hairy Latino guy and I used to shave my chest and stomach hair because I wasn't comfortable with how I looked. But as I've gotten older, I am more comfortable now with my body hair. To me, it's kind of a futile effort because mine grows back so fast I would have to keep doing it constantly and it feels like a chore.

I've never completely shaved off my pubes, but I like to keep them trimmed short. I know a lot of Latino men that don't have a lot of body hair, typically darker skinned guys, so they might usually only have very little hair on their chests and mostly on their arms and legs. However I have seen straight Latino men online who completely shave their pubes and personally, I don't really get it or understand it. It's a very odd look when a guy has hairy legs, some hair on his torso, and then a completely smooth pubic area. Maybe it's for the benefit of women?

I’m Latino too (Mexican) and I can’t speak for other Mexican guys but I do tend to shave most of my body hair as well. Chest, arms, armpits, legs, pubic, todo. I just feel it looks cleaner and I tend to get very hairy all over. From time to time I’ll shave everything except the pubic region but I end up shaving it too. I have noticed that it’s more common with a lot of Caribbean Latinos like Puerto Ricans, Cubans and Dominicans.

is it Latinos or just dudes from DR?
Here in the US-Northeast Region (NY/NJ, New England, Philly, and even the DMV region) you'll find most Latinos shave or manscape a lot, especially if they have a fitness aesthetic (gym/sports) or an urban/reggaeton style. Most Latinos in this area are either Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Colombians, Ecuadorians, and some Cubans and Mexicans.

I guess they just follow whatever aesthetic Latino influencers and celebrities have. As an example of this look, below you can see Maluma who is a Colombian reggaeton singer.

I’m grateful for any and all races and ethnicities of men who shave/wax etc. it all.

Personally being Latino I prefer being shaved so much. Not only does it feel good when it’s hot to not have all that hair but I love how it looks and makes me feel so horny I don’t mind showing off my shaved patch or strip it’s a part of me

It's probably just a personal thing, I follow quite a bit of Latino and Hispanic men and there's variation. Abel Pirela for example shaves ass but keeps her chest and body generally somewhat hairy, Oscar Alonso generally shaves but is a bit slower to shave his underarm hair and and TightFittBoy leaves his armpit hair unshaved but shaves everything else

I think it's mostly what they feel sexiest with, I personally don't mind a bit of body hair tbh, I think lightly unshaved underarm hair and some gruff chest hair is cute and hot imo.

I will never understand why guys shave their pubes which are meant to be there. They ruin the beautiful esthetic of the male form.

Everyone's different. Some men shave their face completely. Some men leave some stubble. Some men have a moustache, some men have sideburns, some have a full beard they keep trim, a few guys let their beard grow long, on and on and on.

It's the same with pubes. There are tons of guys out there for all of us to meet and get naked with no matter whether we love full bush, shaved completely, or something in-between.
