that’s what i took from his statement as well. not sure why some people are acting obtuse about it. you can have a sexual attraction to one gender, but only want an emotional and romantic connection with the other gender.
As another bisexual it is weird, but since it’s somewhat normalized most people don’t recognize/won’t admit that it is. Essentially that perspective just boils down to internalized biphobia. You admit you like men sexually but cut yourself off from the possibility of pursuing them romantically the same way you would women bc you still have some internal stigma about allowing yourself to fall for another man and not a woman like society taught you to.
