Finally, someone said it. Thanks. Couldn't agree more. All the warm tone images of either from golden hour settings or extremely tan-skinned models with boring dead look poses.I wish Yummy hired different photographers who aren't Sasha. His work feels so lazy nowadays, we get the same kind of photo from every model who appears on there these days
He isn't even trying anymore. He's got a formula which he is sticking to. Like some of the latest previews were shot in Bali but it looks identical to all the previous places he has been shootingFinally, someone said it. Thanks. Couldn't agree more. Do u have charlie matthews, Doug Mason and Lorenzo biki please ?They were the only frontal , the rest below
I do think his edits are too similar, he has a pretty standard lightoom wash he pours over everythingI wish Yummy hired different photographers who aren't Sasha. His work feels so lazy nowadays, we get the same kind of photo from every model who appears on there these days
I feel this is true. I think a lot of the more decent models trust him, so that's why he can get some good poses out of them.I do think his edits are too similar, he has a pretty standard lightoom wash he pours over everything
But at the same time, he can get quite sensual poses out of a decent model. I think his aaron owen/paul ferrari shots are very provocative- spread legs, hints of taint, submissive poses. Whereas while the elia cometti shoot with smiggi was very revealing he was just... standing there for most of it.
do you have andrei andrei ?
I disagree because he shoots a lot on film as well, and his edited digital photos look exactly the same as his film shots—sometimes I can’t even tell the difference. Plus, shooting film makes it harder to capture different poses, etc. I’m not sure if you’ve received Yummyzine 7 yet, but it’s a mix of very different fashion models shot in both digital and film, featuring incredible locations and poses. The same goes for Beach Boys! I feel that Yummy only shares a limited selection of the full body of work in their emails. And yes, he and Smiggi get the best models, and he captures the most daring poses.I wish Yummy hired different photographers who aren't Sasha. What does shooting on film have to do with anything? Loads of photographers shoot on film and their work is dynamicI disagree because he shoots a lot on film as well, and his edited digital photos look exactly the same as his film shots—sometimes I can’t even tell the difference. But to be honest, the people in this forum are the last ones who should be giving opinions on photography—according to them, a photo is only good if it’s a close-up of a dick most of the time. Lol
Totally agreed - it might as well be called SashazineFinally, someone said it. Thanks. Couldn't agree more. All the warm tone images of either from golden hour settings or extremely tan-skinned models with boring dead look poses.
