Netflix renewal depends largely on whether the people who watched first episode managed to stay till the last.

yeah i think viewership is more of a secondary thing, completion rate is more important to netflix than having a fuckton of views. obviously they care about views and want tons of them, but getting tons of views but most of them didn't finish the season means the show didn't captivate people. iirc that was basically why that lesbian vampire hunter show got cancelled. it got the views, but not the completion rate, people gave up on it in the first couple episodes. to netflix that means people weren't interested in finishing the story, therefore weren't interested in it continuing, so no renewal.
if glamorous got a lot of initial views but most of those people didn't finish the season, then the show is unlikely to get renewed
