Photos & Videos ♥ Alex Hefner ♥

Well, he replied to my comment on one of his recent videos. Unfortunately, he didn't like what I said. (I'm surprised he even saw my comment.) Since I seem to have struck a nerve, his reaction makes me think I was right. (To paraphrase Shakespeare, methinks he doth protest too much.) Nevertheless, I meant no offense and didn't want to start an argument, so I apologized. Hopefully that made him feel a little better about it.

People were making comments on his reaction to a jump scare, which I thought was an overreaction. In response to someone else's comment, I suggested that he might have been performing for our amusement. (Many YouTube reactors do that.) He got mad because he thought I was calling his reaction fake.

Any good questions or moments from the live?

Unfortunately, I only caught the last 10 minutes of the livestream. He talked a bit about how he and his wife live in Hawaii and love it there. Someone asked him if he was a lawyer and what kind of law he practiced. He mentioned a couple of different areas of law but the only thing I remember for sure is that he worked on bankruptcy cases. I think he may also have mentioned estate planning or something like that. A couple of people said they were thinking about becoming YouTubers and making their own reaction videos, and he strongly encouraged them to do so. He said that there's a big audience for such content, so reactors aren't competing for a limited audience. He also said that becoming a YouTuber completely changed his life. Finally, he said he's restarting his vlog, so look out for that.

no shade i thought the same thing, like with even the reaction to doctor strange he uploaded yesterday, his jump scares seemed so performative and inauthentic lmao

I haven't had a chance to watch that reaction yet, but when I was on YouTube earlier today I saw that he posted "Subscribe to Dylan is in Trouble, not me." He's mentioned Dylan a few times before, I guess because they kind of look alike. For example, he'll say something like "Who do you think I am, Dylan is in Trouble?" He's also told people to watch Dylan or to subscribe to Dylan, but I don't really get it...Dylan already has a much bigger channel than Alex. I don't know if they know each other or whether they have a cordial relationship. If Dylan has ever mentioned Alex, I never noticed, but I don't watch Dylan that much.
