There's no way he never knew he was "showing" as much as he did. It was probably one of the things that gave him an internal positive feeling about himself.
Now that his sister all but fully outed him -- it explains so my as to how he was so fucked-up internally... and being an openly gay man in the NFL just wasn't an option. I have a friend that went to UF with him ... and thought he was more openly 'bi'... in an excuse not to say 'gay'.
