I know I'm pouring fuel into a dumpster fire by even posting but here goes...
I'm in the UK. In a major city. I wanted to see this film in the cinema.
It was on for four days at 9pm only at a theatre an hours drive away. This was not a major release that you could go to easily. So I missed it because it wasn't worth the hassle.
It's only a dick.

Penalty must be severe over there. They might not get to see Downtown Abbey if they get caught. And they don't want to risk that.
There is nightvision cctv in every screen which is monitored by a security guard. It stops people from fighting, fucking, filming etc. In America they allow you to bring guns into the cinema.
