Do bisexual men think accusing a straight guy of being gay is an insult?

“Accusing” someone of being gay is definitely offensive. It implies that there’s something wrong with being gay and that’s insulting to both gay and straight men.

If someone mistakes a straight man for being gay, that’s just making an error without making a judgement.

I've been told I'm gay a few times. I take no offense and either ignore it or will correct it. I think the days when calling someone gay meaning it as a slur are coming to an end.
