Discuss the impact of AI replacing human porn models. As the SAG AFTRA strike ends, think about how the porn industry isn't held by the same rules. Porn is notorious for chewing up and spitting out youth and talent with nearly no regard for the wellbeing of their performers. Porn studios eagerly await the day they don't have to pay performers, camera operators, crew, etc. Example image: how many pinky's does this too perfect bottom have? Will you even notice when 99% of porn actors are replaced?

Feel free to share hyper realistic AI porn images as examples of the coming AI porn takeover but the point of the thread is how this will change society, porn culture, fetish culture, gay culture, etc.

AI in porn started a few years ago when celebrity faces were replacing a porn actresses face who had a similar body type to the celeb. Some of that was (and is) absolute crap, as the images were crude and unrealistic.

But that is changing quickly as the technology is getting better and more widely available, and essentially for free. Deep Fake images and video can be quite convincing.

As an example a performer who is no longer with us, like August Ames. There is so much high quality video and images of her out there, she could be 'recreated' if someone really wanted to put the work into it.

The holodeck imitates everything. if you mean because it’s the same tech as a replicator, maybe.
but at some point, people will realize that people need people. And this may be sooner than later because AI is esssentially like a person with crazy high iq but insanely absent EQ, like any machine CEOs have only higher than average IQ, but the same EQ as most machines. That makes them the best thing to replace. This means it will be regulated to save the most useless jobs of all: ceo, coo, cfo, and all the other c’s.

In college, ST: TNG was still first run. Me and my roomies agreed that the world as we know it ends once the holodeck becomes a reality (no pun intended). If you aren't in one, you're gonna fight your way to be in one, and you'll never leave...

There are some AI services that "undress" photos but they're usually pay-only and hit or miss in terms of quality.

The only AI images with near-perfect nudity that I've seen are from Stable Diffusion, but I have absolutely no clue how it works lol. It seems a lot more complicated than something like Bing

interesting. Dicks may have the same problem fingers do. Current AI definitely doesn't use gay porn or even erotica in it's database. Some entrepreneurial gay surely could load an exclusively gay content database and use the same generative models.

Interesting to hear many of you saying you would choose real over AI. Isn't an increasing problem that we can't tell which is which?

I can choose theatre over film, or recorded over live (music), because I can tell the difference. Increasingly, the average person (myself incl.) won't be able to tell AI apart.

Ideally, the Porn industry should start putting in classifications/standards etc, but as many of you point out, it seems like they are already behind on the fundamental standards/guild-type quality.

Beautiful images and amazing how some of them seem to favor Henry Cavill. Especially his mouth, jawline and nose.

Pretty sure I responded to this seconding the regulation on AI classifications but it appears to have been wiped off the face of this earth!
