I live in Turkey, yes my country is against lgbt individuals, but the reason is Erdogan, there are many individuals with lgbt in my country, but nobody can execute me and my family knows that I am bisexual. Countries like Iran accept trans and even pay for whole surgeries because transgender aligns with an illusion of heterosexuality. Say a gay man who doesn't accept himself as a gay man and desires to be seen as a woman, it is tolerated because, as a transwoman he will look like a woman attracted to men. In the public que they will be seen as heterosexual women.
