I read on Twitter that he used to tell someone who would go see his out of own games that you'd know it's him playing by looking for his ass. That same person said that he'd joke about his butt before others did because he knows it's the "butt" of jokes. I guess he's well aware he has a big ass, but I also wonder whether he just stares at it in amazement in the mirror, too. :smile:

Wow, I know that I have trouble finding clothes to fit my fat ass, so that guy's ass had got to be PACKED into anything he wears. I see we have a similar problem, where when things fit the ass, the waist has to be cinched. Big butt on top of nice big legs. The lower half of him is almost a rugby-ish build, but I think people are thrown off, because he doesn't have the expected look where he's as stocky on top. Either I'm still delirious from lack of sleep, or it looks pretty amazing. :wink:

Recker has been designated for assignment which essentially means that the Oakland A's, the major league franchise on whose teams he has played for the last several years, has put him out for other teams to "claim" if they wish for a period of 10 days, if I recall. If no other team claims him, then Oakland has a chance to bring him back into their fold. It's essentially a way of getting rid of him from an expensive major league salary and replacing him with another player they want on their roster. His baseball career may be stalled or over, or he could just stay with the A's minor league teams.
