Armie Hammer Being Investigated by LAPD After Woman Comes Forward With Violent Rape Allegation

The anonymous woman who first made allegations about Armie Hammer on social media has come forward publicly.

“I thought that he was going to kill me,” the woman, named Effie, said through tears on Thursday during a press conference with her attorney, Gloria Allred. Effie is accusing Hammer of violent rape and physical abuse, during their on-and-off four-year relationship from 2016 to 2020.

“On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles, during which he repeatedly slapped my head against a wall bruising my face,” Effie said. “He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.”

Crying uncontrollably during the virtual press conference, Effie says during the alleged rape, Hammer beat her feet “so they would hurt” with every step she took. She says she tried to get away, “but he wouldn’t let me.”

Innocent until proven guilty I guess, but I am deeply disturbed by the allegations. Thought he was a nice family man, but maybe that was all just a facade. Between the cannibalism, the raping accusations, and the violence, I think his career is over.

I have now watched it and I see a traumatized woman who feel inner panic talking out loud about the degrading things he did to her. She clearly did not write it down herself but it doesn’t mean that it’s not her story. I still believe her.

I personally do not care about the cannibalism. As long as there is consent it’s up to everyone to live their lives to the fullest. But consent is the word to focus on. There might be consent between them but clearly not all the time

Apparently this Effie woman told one of her followers he never raped her and that it was consensual, and later on she backtracked on that statement accusing him. Now I don't know what or who to believe but the fact that she is contradicting herself makes me suspicious. Not that Armie is completely off the hook either.
