Absolutely. This is what I have always said about anyone accused of rape because I know a guy who was falsely accused of it and lived in fear because of it. Right off the bat, I want to say that anyone who rapes deserves everything that happens to them. No question or argument about that at all. However, if it is a false accusation, the person who made it needs to be held fully accountable. There was another celeb that was accused of rape and the evidence was flimsy at best. I won't mention who to avoid the endless pointless arguments that have plagued other threads. A Corbin Fisher model was killed because he was accused (falsely) of rape. People who want to throw the legal process (which is there for a damn good reason) out the window need to stop for a minute and think how it would feel if THEY were falsely accused of rape and convicted for it just based on someone's say so. Don't think for a second it can't happen to anyone. We have a legal system for a reason. If anyone ever falsely accused me of rape, I would have my lawyers down their god damn throat so fast, their head would spin. A person's reputation has value that could be permanently damaged from false accusations. This is why laws such as slander and libel exist - to stop people from making false accusations that destroy people's reputations. "You can't unring the bell" as the expression goes. It's a hell of a thing to accuse someone of, so accusers better be telling the truth. If someone is accusing anyone of such a crime out of extortion, blackmail, spite, revenge, etc, they absolutely should pay the price legally and experience some of the hell the other person went through.

This whole story is confusing. Isn’t this case still open? Hollywood already black listing him but no concrete proof right?
Like remember when Ross Butler was accused of that attempted breaking and enter and attempted murder scandal? He still had managed to stay employed in Hollywood until proven innocent.
And wasn’t it a few years ago someone accused Justin Biever of assault but it was proven she was lying for attention and he ended up suing her? Can’t remember whole details.

Fatty Arbuckle was arrested for rape and murder at the height of his career. Arbuckle was found not guilty by a jury who even issued him an apology. Despite this favorable outcome for Arbuckle, the scandal essentially put an end to his career.
He deserved to have his career ended because of a false accusation? What an awful thing to say. I hope you never have to experience the same situation. Of course, maybe you should. Then maybe you might learn some humility.

As far as the court system is concerned, yes it does. If you choose to believe otherwise, that is your choice, but it is well documented that people end up losing careers and their lives over false accusations.
He’s not gonna get work while the allegations are still bristling. It’s not about being “fair”. The studios are watching their asses. Just like with others, if the allegations prove insubstantial his career will recover or recover to some degree. But getting immediately dropped from all projects, his reps and agency dropping him, his wife filing for divorce- it’s all a sign that a lot of the industry knows what’s up and are trying to quickly detach themselves.
Not to be one of those “I always knew something was up” people. But Arnie always came off as one of the more phony of Hollywood actors. He never was much of an actor. And him taking on his role in CMBYN just never say right with me. Even if he proves to have never indulged anything illegal, he pretty much all but confirmed that he has cannibalistic fantasies, rape fantasies and has had sidechicks throughout his marriage. It’s gonna be virtually impossible for him image to recover.
There’s also no need to use this stuff to hype someone else up. You don’t know what’s going on with any of these actors. Richard Madden could be on some f-ed up shit himself. Btw, since I know a ton of these posts are inevitable, nobody cares if you “still think he’s hot”. Just comment on the situation or post some pics/vids. I think there is more to this than we know. Woody Allen never got cancelled for getting married to his stepdaughter. Roman Polanski never got cancelled for sex with a minor. There must be more to this that hasn’t been told. Some kind of evident. However answere elgort completely vanished after his allegations
