I very much agree. In what way is that different from anyone else in the USA? Everyone is building an image — for oneself, fora company, for a product, etc. its the way contemporary society works and we can not go back. Would I embrace his life style? Here's a guy who left Ukraine by himself with a little money and some clothes (this was before the war), moved to America where he knew no one, hasn't seen his mother or family in almost 5 years now, is working on getting his US citizenship, and he met someone who he's been in a relationship with for around 9 months (as of May 2022). Is he taking any food off your table or money out of your pocket? I'll answer that: No. So mind your own business. Leave him be. Worry about you.
