It was very inclusive they just werent attractive. That's not how TV works its based on ratings if I kissed a boy brought in views there would have been a second season this year.I actually liked the way the show cast all different types of gay men. It was very inclusive. And maybe they didn't have a 2nd season of I Kissed A Boy because they have aired I Kissed A Girl instead.
UK has plenty of conventionally good looking people. I'm glad you bought up reality tv because look up any reality tv show from the early 00's when the reality tv period was popular the casts were attractive. Especially when its geares to towards late teens to early 20's.UK doesn’t have “conventionally” hot people. Or rather, they’re not as obsessed with it like US.
Look at the casts of just about every UK reality show vs US ones. The US ones nearly always feature catalogue model-like people.
They did actually say last year because they were doing a girl version they wouldn’t do a boy one. They wanted to tick both boxes for gays and lesbians. It was very inclusive they just werent attractive. That's not how TV works its based on ratings if I kissed a boy brought in views there would have been a second season this year.
There was never going to be a second season this year. It literally said at the end of last year's reunion they would be doing I Kissed A Girl this year instead. Then next year it'll be the boys again, which is casting now, as others have said.It was very inclusive they just werent attractive. That's not how TV works its based on ratings if I kissed a boy brought in views there would have been a second season this year.
It got above average views for the type of show and as I recall the BBC were very pleased with the ratings. Before series 1 finished they announced they would do a lesbian version of the show and confirmed that they wouldn’t do another series of I kissed a boy until the following year. They have now announced series 2 which will air next year. So far everything they are doing is what’s been said.Guys what's with the delusion, ok fine so let's go with the reason it didnt get ratings is because it was on a small channel for the LGBT audience. I'm sorry there's enough gay and bi guys in the UK that would have brought in the ratings if they found the show interesting or found the guys hot. Most of these types of shows is about having attractive people on their love island wouldnt do well if they were all ugIt got

I think we all like to say stuff like this but in reality it's the complete opposite. Take this thread for example matty is the guy that people have enquired about. No has asked about Kailum, ross, jake, bobski. Guys like ollie and dan its been more from a gossip point of view then ohh my gosh they're so HOT. I found ceejay really cute he had a nice bum but I know he's not most people's cup of tea.I actually preferred that they were normal guys and quite relatable. A group of conventionally attractive lads with muscles could end up being quite dull to watch week after week.
Actually it wasn't otherwise we would have had a second season. And no one said we need a bunch of WHITE gym bros I said conventionally hot/attractive guys.
Seems like you're the one that associates good looks with white people. Sorry to have to tell you this but beauty exists in every RACE of people not just white people. And as for the gym comment sure let's play the delusional game and pretend a guy with with a great body isnt attractive lool
Facts are the majority of the guys that were casted on the first season were not attractive. And to prove my point once Matty was introduced everyone started to take more of an interest because susprise susprise he was hot.
P.s imagine making that gym comment and you have a banging dare I say sexy body yourself that V line wow

I'm the person that lives in reality again wheres the demands to see pictures of Kailum, ross, jake, bobski and Joseph naked.......... wheres the excitement to see their OF........Who are you to tell people what they like to see on TV? 2 people on this page alone have told you they liked seeing different types of gay men and you're still telling us that deep down we would prefer to see gym heads on there.
No they weren't thats literally a lie. So matty and ross and on the same level as attractiveness. If those two were stood next to each you're telling me most guys would find them both equally as attractive...... reallyI’m lost they were all conventionally attractive. The way they casted the show was fine.
You said the guys were all conventionally attractive now you're saying they wouldn't have been casted if it was the US. If they're conventionally attractive then why wouldn't they get casted in the USAs someone from the US I can assure you the cast would NOT have looked liked that filmed here. They would have pushed to have pocs but it would have been one or two. Maybe one person that wouldn’t be considered fit but that would be it. Everyone would be white or white passing/“exotic”
I said they wouldn’t get casted in the US because they wouldn’t be based on how they cast our reality shows. rarely would you see an every day attractive person. Everyone is model. you can be conventionally attractive without being drop dead gorgeous. You said the guys were all conventionally attractive now you're saying they wouldn't have been casted if it was the US. If they're conventionally attractive then why wouldn't they get casted in the US
Both Ross and matty are attractive I don’t know what else to say lolNo they weren't thats literally a lie. So matty and ross and on the same level as attractiveness. If those two were stood next to each you're telling me most guys would find them both equally as attractive...... really
