They put them back after massive complaints and added an official in the leader room for the first time in 22 years.
Have never seen bb Brasil before. Could you please explain what's the purpose of an official in the leader room?
Yes. I watch every year. So the leader gets to decide who goes directly to the wall for eviction. Then the public votes.
Every year the biggest complaint was no camera in the leader room. The leader gets to pick a VIP and they get to hang out in there. Much is missed because sometimes the PPV wouldn't show the leader room for hours.
Leaders room has its perks, the leader can watch and listen to house cams (whenever they're talking about the game). We never got to see the week's leaders doing that in the past (at least not through PPV, from what I know there was never a cam to see what the leader was doing in his room)
Btw, the leader can take up to 6 people to the leader's room. Making them VIPs.
Since its only 22 ppl in the house, its reasonable to have a camera in the leader's room.
Also, they removed the bath cam to make it more "family friendly" I would say. But seems like they gave up doing that after the amount of complains
Is it common for men in Brasil to go nude publicly (going by how cool people are to show their dicks while bathing)?

No, it's not that common. Brasil is an ultra conservative and Christian country. So, nudity is a taboo there!
Unfortunately. One guy got voted out a few years ago just for taking a shower naked.
That's interesting. Going by the kind of bikini most women on the show wear, I thought the society there is quite open and liberal.

Yeah Brazil is an interesting place. Overall very religious and a place where people genuinely thank God and Jesus for things on a regular basis and openly discuss their faith in everyday settings. Yes, same-sex marriage is legal and there are pro-gay laws on the books, but gay topics are still very taboo, like the United States and Western Europe were back in the 1990s. It’s a very diverse country but the issues of racism and xenophobia are very present in society.
All that being said, it’s a beautiful country with many progressive and welcoming people.
Watching Big Brother Brazil alone will tell you all you need to know about racism and xenophobia.
Moro nos EUA e realmente o Big Brother americano é bem mais interessante que o brasileiro.
No Brasil é tudo voto popular para determinar quem será o vencedor do programa, já nos EUA, os participantes eliminados passam a morar em outra casa e formam o júri e determinam o vencedor.
Ainda o BBB virou um programa para pautas sociais e o jogo ficou totalmente em segundo plano.
I watch the show sometimes especially after I saw some of these shower videos but I don't understand it because I don't know Portuguese lol
