Hey Guys, I am bottom guy who does not have much experience with sex, but I certainly enjoy it way more than topping, however a lot of times I've found this experience quite uncomfortable. Not long ago I went to the doctor, and I found out I have 1st degree hemorrhoids, and wanted to know any experiences, advices or tips on how have you dealt with this problem in case you have... Thanks in advance.

Did your doctor recommend anything to treat your hemorrhoids ?.. If not, just use some over the counter cream to treat them. Eat plenty of fiber. Use baby wipes.. Lay off of sex until healed. When your ready, make sure you use lube and relax.... Have fun.

The number one cause of hemorrhoids is straining to pass stool, typically from constipation. Straining brings blood to the membranes, where it pools and swells. Next thing you know, it’s a problem.
Of course there is a long list of other causes and anal sex is one. Use more lube than you think is necessary and don’t try to sit on a traffic cone (joking).
In the meantime, use a stool softener (buy one without a laxative component) and use the ointment creams - liberally and often.
The anus is very vascular and usually responds quickly to treatment. Unless there is a lot of bleeding or prolapse there’s no need to see your PCP.
Generally speaking, it’s your diet not sexual habits that causes them.

If you go to a proctologist or a gastrointestinal specialist, they can inject your hemorrhoids in the office (it is nearly painless), and in the course of a week or so, the hemorrhoidal tissue will shrink. This can be done again, if necessary.

Follow the good diet advice above, and you should be good to cum, er uh, go!

He just put an injection to me, and said he couldn't do more than giving me a diet and recommending lots of exercise, since it's not bad enough as for an operation. He told me to avoid Anal Sex though...

I have had a long history with haemerhoids and rectal bleeding. There's no magic solution I've found but really just lots of lube and a good position that makes you wide (e.g. bending over and legs apart).

I'm constantly worried if anal sex can cause haemerhoids but reading on the internet, doctors and sex therapists have said no - as long as you prep and you are not too aggressive. And if the giver's penis is not too big.

Good luck.

I'm going to tell you like this, IT HURTS LIKE HELL AND ITCHES EVEN WORSE!!!!! I would suggest using Preparation H, the pads, that way the roids shrink. From experience I would not suggest that you have sex while you have hemorrhoids it can cause you problems as well as your partner. I do suggest that you check with your physician (hopefully he's gay friendly) and discuss your options.

So, I impulsively bottomed for a guy that was like 9 inches the other day. This was my first time bottoming. He barely entered me and plenty of lube was used, but nevertheless, I’ve got some brutally painful exposed hemorrhoids.

Im currently uninsured so I don’t have the privilege of seeing a doctor, which is a privilege in the USA, if you weren’t aware. I’m taking hot baths, using prep H, avoiding prolonged sitting. I know every case is different but I’m curious what recovery looks like? When can I expect the pain to subside and the thrombosized hemorrhoids to recede in size?
