Clothing optional vacation

I went to Ft. Lauderdale in the early part of this past December, 2017. I stayed at the Worthington Resort. It is three guest houses that are all hooked together, so stay at one, and play at all three. There are about 20 rooms in each of the three sections. There are three pools and two hot tubs. They have breakfast and lunch for purchase, and a continental breakfast that is included. I had a great time, very nice staff, and the other guests as well. It had a varying age range too, which was nice. I rented a car, because the gay bars, restaurants, etc. are somewhat spread out. I also used Lyft quite a bit if I was going to have a drink out at night. It was very reasonable, and usually were at the hotel in minutes.

I do love Key West, and have stayed several places there, but like some guys said above, I think Island House is the best. It is quite pricey, however, for me anyway. I never rented a car when in Key West, as things are all pretty much within walking distance.

Had fun in Palm Springs as well, but it has been a while since I have been there, so no recommendations on the best places to stay.

What’s inn Leather like? I have heard it’s not very clean. Did you have that expierence?
I have not stayed in the rooms there as I have only been to them on DayPasses, but I've enjoyed the socializin and open sex play every time.

Still the VERY best of Naked Vacations is GNI / Gay Naturists International! www.gaynaturists.org

It's a total life-changer. An annual event in the Poconos of Pennsylvania... the 3rd week of August... i just went for my 20th year!

I'm trying hard but not being pushy in getting my partner to be comfortable in clothing optional settings. This thread was helpful. I really want to check out Fort Lauderdale since Haulover isn't too far as well. Sitges is high on my list of places I want to visit as well. I wish it wasn't so expensive to go to Europe.

Welcome! Haulover is only 30-min from FtLauderdale... Actually--Haulover will actually be easier for your hubby to acclimate to public nakedness... it's just so natural ... it's natural!

I think it would especially knowing him. He's Korean so we've done the Korean spas before and he was okay with that. I brought him to Gunnison but he didn't take off his bathing suit. I actually think he was more insecure getting nude in front of women than men.

That being said, I don't want to force anything on him. I think he'll be comfortable the more he gets used to it. It just takes awhile for some people. If he doesn't, I won't hold that against him, but I'll still need nude time whenever we take a trip somewhere.

Going to give All Worlds in PS a shot, the Maze sounds fun!

Is it easy for a semi inhibited guy to meet people at Worthington Resort and play.
I know I am replying over a year later from your request.
Not just the worthington all but at all resorts, if you are interested in someone strike up a conversation or even flirt a little, if they are interested you will know and take it from there.
Just like going out to a bar, if you see someone you like, you smile, they smile back, you say hi and life goes from there

Are women aloud at these resorts? I would love to take my wife and find somebody to fuck me and let the wife watch. Also she could enjoy the sights of cock everywhere.
Island House and Vista Grande are both gay men's resorts. In Palm Springs there is a new co-ed swingers resort in the space formerly occupied by All Worlds Resort at the entrance of the Warm Sands Neighborhood. I can't remember the name of it, but it would certainly serve your purpose.

Help! Does anyone know this porn stars name?

I think it started with Chad.

I know his real name is Chad Franek, but I can’t seem to find anything about his poem name.

I've stayed at a few clothing optional resorts in the US in Fort Lauderdale, Key West and Palm Springs.

It's something I'd definitely recommend - not least because these properties do have their origins in a different era and may not be around forever as times change.

All my experiences are pre COVID so may be a little dated.

Fort Lauderdale

I've stayed at Pineapple Point resort twice. It's an expansive property will excellent staff. I bitterly regret not getting a massage from Joel on my last visit a few years ago.

The one downside is that it's in a residential area and neither near the bars nor the beach. If you don't have a car you will need to get taxis to get around.

Pineapple Point: Luxury Gay Resort

Key West

I've stayed at Alexanders's Guest House a few times. It has clothing optional sun decks, but nudity is not allowed around the pool or elsewhere. It is a very well appointed property with excellent staff.

On more recent visits, the crowd was increasingly mixed with some straight couples, mixed gay/straight friend groups etc. Whilst all are friendly and respectful, if you're visiting Key West to mix with our men you may prefer the certainty of an all male resort.

There is a calmness and serenity to the property at night I really like - if you're a party 24/7 type you might find it a bit low key.

I've only visited Island House on a guest pass where you have access to all the public areas (pool, cafe/bar, gym, spa etc) all day until 8am the following morning and you can come and go as you please.

The pool parties are very popular. It is a property where you are going to get hit on a lot - some may find it occasionally overbearing.

My personal preference is to stay at Alexanders's and visit Island House on a day pass to get the best of both.

Palm Springs

Had a great stay at The Santiago resort a few years ago - the first floor rooms offer great views of Palm Springs:

I haven't had the chance to stay at its sister properties Descano Resort & Twin Palms Resort but would certainly give them a go:

I'd say Palm Springs is my preferred US resort destination, partly because if you don't mind walking you can cover a fair amount on foot and for its mid century modern architecture.

If you've not stayed at US resort there a couple of things to be aware of:

Partly due to licensing restrictions they tend to offer only a continental breakfast with not much by the way of hot options, so you won't get a full breakfast buffet you find at full service hotels! You don't get much offered by way of food outside of breakfast, but some will do takeaway sandwich orders for lunch.

Also, being the US, you will be given an envelope at the end of your stay to leave a tip for staff (housekeeping, bar etc).

Obviously the mix of guests will be different on each stay - if you're staying for more than a few days moving between properties is an option to try out different resorts.
