Colton underwood- american football player

Colton confessed to Gus in one of the episodes that he was into older men, daddies. So his boyfriend shouldn't be surprising.
I figured whoever it was would be older. And probably as tall as he is.
Colton's boyfriend is only 9 years older than him.
Is that it? He seems older. Is the old enough to be considered a "daddy"? Although that may have been Gus' interpretation of what Colton wanted.

Assuming Google gave me accurate information, Colton's boyfriend is only 9 years older than him. I feel like that's not a huge age gap, especially when both parties are well into adult hood.

Colton is 29, he's 38.
Colton turns 30 in January, so the age gap is actually closer to 8 years.

38? he looks 48.
He definitely looks a lot older than he is.

Daddy is a state of mind /s

Yes, I guess we were all expecting him to date a young athlete like Gus, but he said on the show he's into older men because he's a little bit of an old soul. He really wants to settle down, marry a guy and have kids.

All in all, I really enjoyed the show. Colton seems like a very sweet guy who's just trying to figure himself out. He owns up to the mistakes he made and the way he treated Cassie after they broke up, and even admits to attempting suicide at that time. My favorite episode was the one centered around religion. I know a lot of LGBT people feel like they have to choose between their love for God and their own happiness and well-being, and I liked that it showed that you don't have to choose, that your relationship with God is your own and no one should question it.

I honestly don't understand why so many people, especially on reddit, are so vitriolic towards Colton. What he did was wrong, he understands that, and he's trying to become a better person. He had the right to tell his side of things, I don't see a problem with that. I guess in the Cancel Culture Age, once you do something wrong, you should be ostracized and shunned forever. It's almost like no one believes in forgiveness anymore. Empathy is such a rare quality nowadays. It's insane.

Well, it is Reddit.

I also liked the religion episode (omg, his straight church-and-basketball friends are hot), even though I was fortunate enough not to have any religious indoctrination growing up and so didn't have to deal with overcoming that insanity. I liked how Colton listened to the pastor's inane ramblings, considered them for a few days, and then discarded them like the used toilet paper they are. That was a slam that didn't have to go into overdrive to make its points.

In the end you see him at his new MCC church, with the trans pastor who made the most forceful declarations of the show with regard to Colton's shortcomings. Which I agree he is working harder than most people to overcome.

Colton's friend, Kassidy, is the sweetest thing ever.

His friend, Cody Alan, kinda misjudge how ready he was to hook up. Probably he thought this is that kind of reality tv.

Also interesting to see Gus-Colton dynamic. In the early part, they have non-gay friends dynamic, probably bc they knew each other even before his Bachelor days. Then, I think Gus tried to ease Colton into gay-world by treating him more like his other gay friends, like playfully calling him "girl". But, by the end of the 3rd episode I think they revert back to their original non-gay friend dynamic, or even more brotherly dynamic, like Gus keep calling him bud/buddy and being more and more protective of Colton (not that he's not protective to his friends).

Exactly & people need to stop whining about his age and whether he looks older than his age or not, im sure he’s a great guy that makes Colton happy. All those calling him old will be old one day too so live & let live.

Reddit is very left wing these days. They’re probably mad he wasn’t out and proud from day one.

They claim to be mad because they think he should just go away and he doesn't deserve forgiveness for what he did to Cassie (but I think it's just a convenient excuse to hate him).

I don't think they're left wing. They're simply a bunch of virtue-signaling, holier-than-thou morons. They act that they haven't made a single mistake in their lives.

That's the funny thing about fillers. Really, men should only use fillers to replace the loss of volume when they hit their fifties. A good amount will make you look fresh, youthful but as you were when you were younger.

But as is the fashion in Hollywood, they always put too much in. So instead of youthful, you end up looking like you had your face reconstructed after a car crash.

Unfortunately much younger men are being convinced to be over filled too. So being over filled like a 50 year old makes you look like you are 50.

Eat a steak if you want your face fatter.

It's natural for people to loose volume as they age. Fillers can only do so much and they make your face look bloated rather than youthful. What makes Jordan look much older than his age is his greying hair and beard. If he were to dye his heard and shaved daily, he'd look much younger. But maybe he just doesn't care and Colton seems to like him the way he is so...

I'm actually glad he chose a "decent" person who knows the real world, and not just based on physical. Because, let's face it, I always saw Colton as a poser, which is not surprising considering he lived his whole life in a lie. But, on recent interviews, he came out more genuine and grounded, and I believe his boyfriend (as well as Gus) has a big part in this.

I think we're all disappointed that Colton would date someone so unattractive, but they do seem to be happy together.
We? Nah, that's your opinion. I don't care who he dates.
