Connor Franta (youtuber & Author)

thought i might revive the thread with something i saw on tumblr
A quick Google image search reveals it's fake. The moles don't match up. Photo forensics proves it, too, with addition of moles. The largest one below the navel has been photoshopped in - it's a square image. Sorry to burst your bubble. If you want the fantasy find another fake with his face.C7JzI_eV4AAD72m.jpeg

Another book announcement…

He’s certainly a longtime crush and a damn pretty twink, but his content is such pretentious drivel…

“A raw depiction of a young man’s emotional warfare with his past, the daze of wandering through modern times in search of purpose, and the electricity flying from tomorrow’s potential.”

“I've spent the last three years pouring myself into my writing. It's been brutally magnificent, and now it's time to give the words to all of you. The 300 pages I've crafted include a bleeding collection of poetry, soulful narratives, and original film photography magnifying and emotional warfare found within my past, the daze of wandering through modern times in search of purpose, and the electricity flying from tomorrow’s potential. This is my new book, House Fires.”

I guess it fits his audience? Back on 2012 during my teenagehood I’d have loved to have this kind of content from him. Not anymore but again, young gay teens might be into it

I take it his books do stupid well, and you’re right, I’m sure there’s a demographic for it… but haven’t most of his audience (gay or other) aged out of their angst phase? Connor is pushing 30.

I admit, I bought his first book to see if there was anything juicy about him and Troye fucking, but even then he had a knack for filling pages up with things that sound deep and insightful, but is just word fluff. All aesthetic, no substance.

And even now, as he was 5 years ago, he’s still seems hung up on Troye and vaguely writing about his lost great love… I mean, wow, hand it to Troye that must have been some good D.

I believe he’s aiming for a younger audience. Sure some of his first audience are pushing our 20’s to early 30’s. I don’t consume his content anymore but i know younger people are. We were willing to buy his first book but now I think he’s aiming to people who is our age when we were 15 back on 2012-2015. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. As basic as it gets, it might reach out to someone that might need it in that time as we all did back in our days.

This pretty much describes every YouTubers books lol

Still love Connor though! He's probably the only YouTuber I still actively follow and like from all the way back
