Cooper Koch

I’m just gonna insert my two cents that no one asked for but :

1. to be fair, i didn’t even know cooper existed until he was casted by murphy but for some people to insinuate he was providing sexual favors in return for a role is really disgusting and downright dehumanizing. it might be hard to believe but not all gay men have no morals or a sense of dignity. and hypothetically speaking, if cooper was to offer services, why would he do it for ryan murphy out of all? this netflix series is supposed to be based off of a real life homicide and murphy has turned it into some sick incest thinly veiled soft core gay pornography from the parts i’ve seen floating around.

2. the comments mentioning his mannerisms and voice needs to stop. i’m estimating a good chunk of people in this thread sound like miss piggy on a good note and knocking him down a peg because of something he physically can’t control is ridiculous.

3. bad move on his part for acknowledging he wasn’t using a prosthetic in the movie. sure, it scores him points with horny gay men and the guys in his grindr messages but i think people forget to maintain some level of professionalism, especially in the acting industry. don’t mention brad pitt or rob lowe as both of those men have 20+ of acting experience and knowledge on cooper and knew how to navigate through the actions they’ve taken.
a lot of ppl here needed to hear this!

The rampent number of self-loathing gays that have come out in this thread is wild. Literally everyone suddenly has very scathing and nasty things to say about Cooper and Ryan and anyone that isn't a "masculine" gay.

Did we time travel back to 1994? Someone even used the f slur combined with accent to describe affected speech. Like, what?

I hope all of you find a way to bring love and kindness back into your hearts

I don’t think ppl commenting abt his gay voice/mannerisms necessarily dislike it… they’re just stating the obvious… that most male characters in mainstream tv/movies are straight and it could be more difficult for him to get those parts. But in my opinion, his performance in the Menendez Netflix show demonstrates that he can “pass” as a straight sounding/acting character quite well if needed.

American entertainment industry literally destroyed understanding of what ACTING is with branding.

I understand what you’re saying, but the comments i’ve seen regarding his voice are inherently plain homophobia. they aren’t correlating it to his potential to get straight acting man roles.

Also quick little side note to add to this, he can change his voice, like at any time he wants. Did we not watch him in Monsters?
