Cooper Koch

I get it, but he wants to play Patrick Bateman. A character straight guys are obsessed with. The film would bomb bc those straight men would no go to theater if he acts the way he does. Like how can he sell a film like that being so flamboyant on press tour ? He needs to sell the fantasy.

Its fine if he wants to be flamboyant but he needs to be realistic what film he can carry and how much HWood will is willing to finance a big budget theatrical film where he is the lead.
Dude, have you read the novel? It's very much queer coded.

physically hes a decent looking guy but the mannerisms/body language are way over the top, is his acting on monsters supposed to be him playing straight? Cuz we know Ryan does not hire the majority of his male actors based off talent/experience and you dont hear of them doing much outside of the Ryan murphy universe. I can only imagine how the auditions go(Hawk Tuah)….

I hate to even reply because you couldn't have seen the show and made this post. There was an entire episode where Cooper had to portray Erik breaking down and telling about the abuse. You couldn't have seen that and still said he's not a good actor

Well, the criticism doesn't really concern his acting talent. It's more about thinly veiled internalized homophobia; talking about his "mannerisms" is nothing more than saying that out gay man can't/doesn't deserve to achieve success.

I ignored that bit. I'm tired of self-hating older queer people talking shit about men with non-binary or 'masculine' expectations from 1980. Cooper isn't from those generations so he's just himself and it's beautiful

There could also be a medical reason why they could only do a partial circumcision (his twin is fully circumcised). Also according to a poster. The father is a secular Jew, so although he may want to honor and celebrate his cultural roots. It was fine with a partial. Who knows? It's all speculation lol.
How do you know about his twin? Tbh I think he's "regrowing" his foreskin. I was obsessed with it myself for a while bc I'm cut due to being jewish and I hated it when I started dating uncut men and wanted to be uncut myself, there is a huge community of people who are stretching and training their dicks to grow the skin over. That is exactly how it looks like. It doesn't look half cut, looks like he tried to grow it. That's my opinion based on what I saw and discussed on reddit. But whatever year it is all speculation indeed!

His brother’s pic were posted, but deleted. It may resurface again.

He’s cut, but not fully. Again, the doctor only removed skin on the top and even then it wasn’t a lot. So he still has foreskin, but if he pulls it forward it doesn’t cover the head fully like an uncut dick. It’s the same as my ex, who I actually thought was uncut. He was also Jewish. I actually like it. Best of both worlds lol

I guess we will never know the truth unless he gets drunk and spills it on WWHL again LOLL

Gay men as usual will bring other gay men down but will effortlessly praise straight men for doing the bare minimum, internalized homophobia continues to work overtime

HOLLYWOOD will unfortunately be more difficult for Cooper. Because he is not an alpha male. He is not the most feminine men either. He doesnt look like he could be on Rupaul Drag Race. He is not flamboyant. He is just a bit feminine. His voice is not very feminine either. I saw interviews with him and his voice is quite masculine. He keeps going back and forth with masculine voice and feminine voice. He should just own his normal voice.

Will he ever make it big? I'm not sure about that. His voice will be in the way. He might make tv shows and movies. But possibly smaller movies. Not the big studios movies. Just look at gay actor Jonathan Bailey. His voice is quite masculine and he is the closest gay actor to make it big. He have Wicked coming next month and Jurassic Park next year. His career is doing well. Studios are into him. Even though he is older and might not be considered as attractive as Cooper, Jonathan is still masculine. Therefore he have the appeal studios wants. You need to be masculine if you want to make it big in the movie industry.

When are we finally gonna have our gay Jean Claude Van Damme? Studios are not looking for the next good looking action muscular gay star. Which is problematic. You possibly noticed that all the action stars are all straight actors. Studios are not doint anything to change it. They thinks action is just for straight men. Which is not true. Gay men would be able to do action movies if they were given the opportunity to do so. Tons of gay men loves action movies. In the future we should see more gay action actors and more gay action movies. We are not there yet. It will take time. Cooper will be more limited. Studios will possibly limit him to independent movies. Movies you see in festivals. Like Sundance or Toronto Film Festivals. He have the good looks and the talent. He just doesnt have the macho appeal that is very important to make it big. Its just the way it is.

i think most realize by now Ryan Murphy actors are mostly not real actors. Randoms he chooses for eye candy that you can guess how they got those roles, or casting gaga/kim k like a typical gay that fans over them. But who knows maybe that says more about society than Ryan, that people will accept/prefer eye candy and popularity over talent.
If he genuinely has serious aspirations of being a respected actor then he shouldn't have worked on a Ryan Murphy production.

There is so much wrong with that statement.

Murphy has worked with some incredible actors, uncovered others and yes, there's a few meh/awful ones in the mix but what a baffling statement to come out with. Not to mention factually incorrect.

A lot of people know him because of Murphy, you need both exposure and talent
Well, people ONLY know him because of Murphy rn. What he does next is key. Notice how Nicholas is staying in the Murphy-verse with Grotesquerie or whatever it's called. I didn't find his performance nearly as compelling as Cooper's. It just felt like a lot of shout-acting from him. That being said, I think it helped that Cooper got the better writing overall. I'd love to see him try and move beyond Ryan's Rolodex of white men.

Exactly what im saying. Most have a hard time moving beyond his rolodex as the rest of the industry hires based off talent, not if Ryan wants to f you or is a fangirl. Its comical watching evan peters/sarah paulson taking themselves so serious when their best known work is Ryan murphy work, aka its been given to them, you havent had to audition and prove yourself within the industry as a whole. I mean can we name one person that started w Ryan has gone off to do well/surpass without him? The best legit actors hes had are people that were established before him, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, angela basset etc. but yea we’ll see where alot of these actors end up 5-10 yrs from now in hollywood as I do feel and have read that we are closer to the end of the ryan murphyverse than the beginning/peak.
