I go into more detail about my sexuality in my autobiography. I know it seems confusing. There’s a lot more to it. Believe it or not it’s more than just black-and-white. That’s what makes it so interesting and even intrigues myself.

I 100% agree we think of sexuality as too much of a binary. I am eager to read your story and I am so happy you've made an online presence and can see how much we still appreciate your work.

Curtis, how did you find yourself shooting scenes with Sean Cody when you were as young as you were—just after turning legal age. Did they find you?

I'm sure it will be in the book, but I'd be curious for a teaser, if you feel like answering.

I get the sense you're maybe from a somewhat rural background, so I just am trying to fit together the pieces for how you were suddenly in that industry, particularly as you have a complex sexual orientation and so on and maybe initially didn't imagine yourself performing in gay porn at 18 or 19 while simultaneously trying to figure everything out.

What’s the deal with judging people based on their political beliefs? Don’t you know that conflict is necessary for growth? Yes there’s a difference between conflict and hate. Imagine if everybody was a democrat or if everybody was a republican there would be no growth no innovation, no progress. That’s exactly why Democrats and Republicans are almost dead even split down the middle in this country. It’s by design- embrace it and love everybody

Conflict was easier to swallow when both sides weren’t tribal, when compromise wasn’t a dirty word, compassion and empathy were in greater abundance, and Republicans weren’t being pulled so much further right than Democrats have ever gone to the left. My family is full of hard working blue collar rural folk who have certainly voted Republican plenty of times. But the GOP now gives safe harbor to homophobes, xenophobes, misogynists, and racists, has economic policies that do less for the social and economic well being of the poor and middle class, is fervently anti-science, anti-education, and anti-environment, and is subsumed by the personality cult of a cruel narcissist who is easily manipulated by dictators and sycophants. Standing by and revering him is so much worse than anyone trying to balance the flaws of the last few Democratic candidates or the left in general. It has genuinely made so many people feel unsafe, and has enabled full on hate speech, violence and cruelty.

And I know this has next to nothing to do with your body of work, so I am sorry for distracting and sidetracking this on a board about porn of all things. I wish you success and no ill will, but I have the hardest time engaging with Republicans if they can’t acknowledge and have empathy for the serious misgivings that go beyond Trump just being immoral. The party doesn’t stand for discourse anymore because critical thinking undermines their ability to win.

Gay people are not 50/50, about 86% of queer people voted for Kamala instead of Trump. Just why start drama with your fans whose financial support you want. Better to keep politics out of it.
