Need to be in his arms so bad… I wonder what his pits smell like
I feel like its these posts and comments Damien makes, that make people confused as to what his sexuality is. I'll be serious, if I didn't know he was absolutely straight, I would think he's gay in some way just from this post. I fully believe that he's straight but it also seems like he's trying WAY to hard to be an ally.
It just seems like he's trying to find himself and wants to be accepted by as many people as he can. As a person who is neurodivergent I get it. Like in a recent video he tells Anthony that he can't pull back from "hustle culture" because he's afraid of losing opportunities by upsetting people but I've burned out several times with that line of thinking. He seems to have a difficult time setting boundaries tbh. Like with the gay allyship (doing too much and not being explicit with his own sexuality), like with that Palestinian girl (could have muted her after his first apology) and with employers (saying yes to all the VO work). Hopefully he'll learn before he burns out.
Damien does not seem gay in any capacity. Like its pretty obvious if he was he would have zero hesitation to come out due to his supportive friend group and clear support of gay people.
Damien is just...very hyper supportive. I think unfortunately he goes too hard in being an ally. Based on what you can see of him, he has been open about having some level of neurodivergency, he hates the though of upsetting people, he knows what its like to have triggers. I think a lot of his personality traits combine into what makes him so forward and dominant in his allyship. Because he wants to avoid even the slightest possibility of triggering someone or hurting someone's feelings.

I don't understand how calling himself an ally would make you think he's gay.
Its not him calling himself an ally its the quote of what he says as an ally. Seriously how many allys would say "Sounds gay I'm in". Everyone else says "Happy Pride Month!" but he goes above and beyond with a weird quote like that.

I don't see any problem with him posting that while also explicitly referring to himself as an ally rather than 95% straight or diet queer or some of the other things he's said previously.

I agree. Which is why I'm pointing it out, because if you're going to use the logic that Damien is gay because he used a gay meme, then lets start calling Shayne gay too.

No one thinks Damien is gay, at all. The whole thing people are talking about is his need to identify as "queer" or overdoing the ally stuff. His sexuality was never question ever since Damien himself admitted to be straight (with colorful words)
