I think the sensation of being lightly, physically touched near his groin, his pecs/nipples, and later his ass, was arousing for him. It's entirely possible and I did think about that. But IIRC Peter does explain "interaction" to Daniel in PS1 and gets his consent, and in PS3 he helps himself and gets no reaction to basically the same kind of touching. So unless that was staged (which is entirely possible but not really on-brand) and/or they had agreed in advance that PS1 was going to get a lot naughtier and the prospect of it turned Daniel on as soon as the touching began. But, what would be the motive of doing it that way, not that most things Peter did are logical?
Always possible. I would imagine that frontal nudity was the gateway. Filmed. Then touching. Then touching more intimately and then the shame.
