I wouldn't throw him out of bed. The complaints I've seen seem to be about him not putting all the attention of the video on the woman. I assume that was his intent. Just my opinion, obviously.
Possibly wishful thinking, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities. He caters a lot of his content to gay men, he's rarely known to have a girlfriend, and looking at his Youtube content he prefers the company of men.
I don't think he caters to gay men tbh, we can make use of it but to me it doesn't seem he goes for that as so many other ig accounts do. He doesn't have a girlfriend but he does have different girls for what people have seen on him, which isn't really surprising. I wouldn't want to commit either. And regarding his company, that's just all bodybuilders, they all have men as company n typical gymbros videos. You won't hit the weights with women being a guy. I think all bodybuilders would be gay if we judge it by that.

He's often had a girlfriend. One could see them in background shots, and sometimes more prominently. He probably realizes that his audience isn't following him to see women (whether gay or not), so he features himself and the guys he works out with, and most of that is done with other guys, because that's how you achieve: by competing with and learning from those on your level and/or above. (He featured his GF when he did a mostly yoga vid, for example.) His one-time modeling gig that you posted was probably the closest he came to working with predominately gay guys, and he didn't seem to find it his thing. That might be a clue. Or not.
I don't know, there's something strange about him. Most bodybuilding/fitness guys end up introducing their girlfriends (in videos like "Q & A with my gf"), if only out of respect for the women who play a prominent part in their lives. And you can't say David likes to keep his private life to himself, because he's never been shy about showing us his family, his mum and siblings. Apart from that girl he ineptly fucks in the video, I find it hard to believe he's just been sleeping around all these years.

He's selling a product. He has a clear grasp as to what he wants and doesn't want to present in his sales pitches. As I stated before, if you pay attention, there are clearly steady girls in his life. They just aren't fawned over as the ones some of his friends introduce and are then devastated when they don't last. We don't see THAT because we didn't see the simping. It's a smart move. And for me, as a gay guy, I don't need to imagine him being gay, but I don't need women in his videos either to prove his heterosexuality or desirability, because both are fairly obvious. And, as to his "ineptness", that's a subjective call, and you'd probably have to explain your judging standards, because that was fairly normal sex for normies IIRC.

True. (Girls come and go, though, and family is forever. He gets that, I think. That's why they are there, and the girls not so much. I've noticed that guys come and go for him as well. He is very focused.)
I think he's too smart? Like most bodybuilders aren't very smart as to consider public perception and what product are they selling. But he's all about marketing and selling himself. Thirsty comments arrive to him everyday of his life. Single guys attract more attention than married/guys in relationships. The video was mechanical because he knew it was to be published. You can tell by how he behaves in it. It's a bad video but I think people make the mistake of judging him on it too hard. If you know you are getting filmed to be exposed you would not act naturally either and your act would come as forced or clumsy, and less you are a good actor. He's been seen with girls many times so with all that practice he's probably more than able in the sack.
