The show may not be a 10/10 masterpiece but it's certainly not terrible. Especially the most recent ep, episode 5, is actually pretty good.
Why are people so petty about a tb show they don’t like and most certainly aren’t watching? If you don’t like it then just ignore it and let other people enjoy it

Seriously, this isn't a difficult concept.
Not only mine opinion. Audience rating on the rottentomatoes speaks for itself. The worst-rated series/movie from the Star Wars universe.
To me the show is a big let down and not good at all but you cannot deny there is a review bomb campaign because, I guess, people have that much free time. It’s the most reviewed Star Wars Disney series by far.
All Star Wars products these days are review bombed by right wing chuds lol. I don't think the show is very good but that stuff means nothing.

Yeah, let's pretend RT, a place where people register only to bomb such shows, is the only reliable thing to check before watching anything.
Meanwhile The Acolyte is the 2nd most popular D+ SW show, falling only behind Kenobi.
Back to Dean. Next episode will be yet another flashback episode and we will see how and why Torbin got that scar
No. Lol. Most people’s opinions. Ratings are abysmal. It’ll likely get cancelled.
The entirety of it has already been made. There's no 'cancelling' a miniseries.

They aren't, there is an entire online economy / universe around whatever the ragebait of the day jumping from IP to IP getting mad over perceived slights things they dislike - today is Star Wars, a few weeks ago it was Assassin's Creed Shadows, before that it was Doctor Who, Rings of Power (to be fair - RoP actually was pretty bad in terms of narrative) ad nauseam
When the Acolyte first started airing the usual ragebait content creators tried spinning a controversy around the showrunner saying that the point of the Acolyte was to make white people cry - when in actuality it was a quote from the Showrunner from a movie she made in 2018 that was about discrimination and racism and she meant empathetic tears
Neckbeards, chuds and lonely antisocial losers are organizing like never before - and I do mean that literally, they work together to do stuff like review bomb projects and harass people who disagree with them
Yeah, there's legitimate critical issues with the glut of Star Wars (and other franchises) content today but it has little to do with the right wing outrage cottage industry.
