I was just laughing when I posted it. Keep what you've got unless you have a medical issue. A lot of us that are cut wish we weren't but nobody gave us an option.
Yeah, its how a penis naturally functions. But you know, poor sexual education and all... mostly cut men. I was cut too so I didnt know but I like reading about sexual/reproductive health, especially pertaining to the penis and learned it myself. My friend got circumsized [at an age lower than 18] and probably just needed it to naturally come loose but no one knew due to ignorance.
There's a lot of variation for how long it takes for a guy's skin to fully separate from the head. For a lot of guys, it happens so early in life that they don't even remember it. It's not impossible for it to last well into puberty though. I had an adhesion that didn't break free until I hit puberty and my cock started getting bigger. Sure, it stung... for like, a day.

Yeah. It usually happens gradually so you don't even notice it, but if (like in my case) it all happens at once, it can be quite painful.

Yes indeed the glans is attached to the 4skin by string-like fibers which encircle the head. These fibers can break at different intervals and the process can be painful and it does Impact smegma and cleanliness.
...but for most guys this happens well before puberty, so you're unlikely to come across a cock whose foreskin is still adhered to the glans.

There are no material disadvantages to being uncut as there are no material disadvantages to being cut. Anything else is just people’s personal views on the matter, unless the circumcision was performed to sort out a medical condition, in which case you can argue against being uncut.
Well fucking said. I was beginning to think there were troglodytes here jeez.The main issue is that people are having this surgery done to them while they were children, without choice and causing great pain, and there ARE occasionally complications. The foreskin is a natural part of the human anatomy. But enough about that. As a "foreskin radical", let me break down some of the stuff youre talking about and prove my case
Now, if you're using circumcision as a defense against infections, based only on statistics, I'm sorry but that's just plain stupid. You stop infections with vaccines and protection like condoms. Not by lopping off the end of your dick. You can get testicular cancer but you dont cut off your balls unless you have a damn good reason. The fact is, anyone can get HPV cut or uncut. Saying otherwise is just disingenuous and dangerous.
Taking a shower once or twice a day can cure that. There is this thing called soap you know. Your hands are one of the dirtiest parts on your body, but you don't go chopping them off for cleanliness reasons. And before you rebutt that "Hands are actually useful while foreskins aren't", let me tell you that the foreskin has several uses. It covers your head while flaccid, keeping it protected and moistened and protects it it from keratization, which is when the glans skin thickens, dries out and becomes less sensitive. It provides a rolling friction during masturbation and sex, which is when the skin rolls over the penis itself, which renders our need for lube, very minimal or non-existent. It enhances pleasure and sensitivity greatly. The foreskin is said to contain over 20,000 nerve receptors and is one of the most sensitive parts on the penis, especially the frenulum
I think this says more about the length of your pubic hair than the presence of a foreskin. And cutting off your foreskin for something as simple as this is again, downright stupid. If your penis is caught in a zipper, are you going to lop it off too? Or how bout your little toe if you knock it against the coffee table?
This one is the most laughable. Lets see. Which do you think is worse for the glans? The foreskin, a natural soft, skin which is designed from day one to cover protect the glans from irritation or friction during physical movement? Or leaving the glans exposed to the irritation and friction of the clothes you're talking about. I'll let you decide
Yes there are a few medical conditions that can afflict the foreskin, but several of these are easily solved without circumcision. For example, phimosis can be solved with stretching and over the counter steroid cream, and in the event they cant, then of-course its a good idea to remove the foreskin, as it is a medical condition. In the same vein it is a good idea to amputate an arm or a leg if it is a medical condition, but doing it isnt something you do as a routine. Its not like the tonsils which serve no useful function. The foreskin do have important uses.
I'm happy you're fully functional down there, but thats just your experience. I've met several men who struggle with the loss of circumcision, and some of them were even depressed due to its loss. If an adult man wishes to make that choice to become circumcised then i say let him. Its his body. But parents shouldn't be making this life changing choice for their children, with no medical justification, and the often casual and superficial reasons like "I was circumcised so he should be too." or "Everyone gets circumcised."
And thats good for them, but again, they should be the ones to have that choice. Furthermore, the "aesthetics and comfort" is wholly subjective.
Not doing a circumcision is free! At least when you spend years fussing with it, you get a chance to experience it and come to a decision on your own. And who knows, maybe you'll decide to keep the thing! Oh wait....the vast majority of uncut people do decide to keep it. Who would have thought?
So don't these "very few cut dudes" matter? Don't they have a right to speak out about the benefits they had taken away from them on the casual whims of their parents? And can only men speak about men's issues? Why cant women speak out about them as well?
I'm normally tolerant of other people's beliefs, but when these beliefs cause serious harm (like with antivaxxers), thats where i draw the line and speak out. If it is based on personal or religious beliefs, or it is due to medical conditions, then by all means, get cut! You wont hear anything from me. But this is a choice that should be made by the person in question, and by nobody else. People have a right to their own bodies. To cut off such an intimate and important part, without leaving them any choice, is just downright cruel. Circumcision, apart from the Jews, really gained popularity due to the efforts of John Harvey Kellog, who advocated it as a means of reducing masturbation in boys, because he knew that it reduced sensitivity.

NO we do not get smegma or cheese head. I am cut high and tight and have never had cheese head. As your 4skin fanatics say....do not speak for anyone but yourself. If you are uncut....Gouda for you.
You do make it as you still have the glands that produce smegma as they are underneath the head of your dick.
