A friend of mine said he mentioned something about perhaps joining the Militarybut this was before he left school. Maybe that's what he'll do. Lord knows he could use the discipline. If he was serious it could do him some good.
Can you imagine someone used to a sugar baby lifestyle having to get used to being bossed around for 2 years or 3 years?
Anyone who joins the military in 2019 is an idiot. You no longer have the veneer of being a ‘hero’ anymore, because everyone knows that the military anymore is just meat for the war profiteers to toss at brown people standing in the way of profit.
I have known people lost in the overseas bullshit the US has mired itself in over oil and a son trying to avenge his daddy’s hurt feelings and mistakes. I have friends currently in the military, serving out their time, and every time one gets shipped overseas, I prepare myself for the inevitable injury or death report. They know how I feel, and they know I love and support THEM, the soldiers being thrown into the meat grinder for the profit of the rich, old, white men who run things.
I hope Dylan realizes that he can’t just quit the military like he quits everything else...and picks a better path.

The military reference was still talking after graduation. I don't think he'd be interested in the military if he can't go in via officer training.
The indication he might leave were that he didn't get into the courses he wanted and has ended up taking a few philosophy courses. Talked about changing major to philosophy instead of English.which would make his degree less useful to my mind. Seemed not to have a plan and not to have prepared very well before rejoining Columbia.

It’s fine to mock people online, I guess, if that’s what gets your motor running, but being willfully obtuse to the reality that not one military action America has taken since probably WW2 has been for actual defense of America. We have been at war in The Middle East for almost twenty years, and we didn’t even go after the country that produced the majority of 9/11 terrorists. Why? Because Saudi Arabia has a profitable relationship with the US, and the military contractors love the constant warfare because it drives up profit margins on the backs of young men and women who mostly come from poor backgrounds and who join up to get college and medical benefits, not to go due for oil and weapons manufacturers.
That lefty loon Eisenhower warned us of this EXACT situation, and we let it happen. We let multi-national conglomerates turn our military into their strong arm whenever something happens that affects their bottom lines, and we wage war across the globe, constantly because of it.
And who profits? Not the wounded, the broken, the dead. Not the families of those soldiers. Not the rest of us, who have been conditioned to fetishize our military instead of actually supporting them.
Anyway, so yeah. If Dylan chooses to join, that is his choice, obvi. I just hope, for his sake, that he makes a better decision.

In 1953 president Eisenhower authorized the overthrow a peaceful democratic government and installed a puppet ruler as head of that country. Why? So that American and British oil companies could get that country's oil cheaply.
The country was Iran and our overthrowing their democracy to take their oil is the primary reason the Iranian people hate us today.

Other than he's supposed to be straight and he's friends with Jackson. I just found it odd that he was with notorious Sugar daddies Michael Cohen and Anthony Watson.
They all knew each other beforehand.
Bryce met Michael Cohen when visiting Jackson and Dylan in NYC more than a year ago.
Gage of course had already been on several trips with Anthony, Ryan and Michael before.
