A lot of em do it, easy way to get a buzz but still be working or stay indoors. No big deal until he becomes addicted or gets mouth cancer.

There maybe restrictions on smoking or vaping especially in doors and dip might be the way around getting that nicotine fix for many. Many need that for something like all night watch duty, I know the army was literally given cigarettes just for this reason at one time by the tobacco companies who them got customers for life. I hope it’s not a practice that goes on anymore and creating and feeding that addiction in the armed forces. It’s also the south where it dip is more socially acceptable.

It’s a pretty typical thing for guys to start dipping, smoking, drinking, or all three in the military. It probably helps cope with the stress and boredom, and also I’m sure a degree of peer pressure is involved. Five of my guy cousins joined (four Marines, one Army) and three of them were smoking and/or dipping when they got out. All five drink heavily.

I have dipped since I was 17. I have tried to quit but I alway go back to it.

So used to be this thread would be updated as soon as he posted on social media, but now his account gets suspended and no-one even noticed? Slipping!
