So he slept with some girls in high school, it’s not that confusing. Believe it or not, not every gay guy springs into his teen years as a fully-fledged self-aware Andy Cohen gay, I didn’t either
No need to get so defensive. I came to ask, and I did so going in with no assumptions. If that’s how you respond to people merely asking questions, you need to chill out.

He's identified as pan
Interesting, thanks!

On speculating about Dylan's sexual orientation:

I recently got confronted by a trainer at a diversity seminar about normalizing being LGBTQ.

Why do we have to come out if straights don't have to?

Why do we have to label our sexuality at all? Just be how you are and eff the labels.

(It made me feel old and outdated. LOL)

The science on sexuality is pretty clear that sexuality is not black and white, but shades of grey.

Sexuality that is pan or fluid might be the true state for most if removed from societal pressure to attach a more black and white label.

For Dylan, the social media deep dive, which has a lot of allegations and speculations in it, would suggest Dylan is pan with a keen, and potentially problematic, attraction to twinks.

straights don’t have to come out because straight is the default. It’s important for gays to come out to let people know we exist. Staying silent is essentially hiding. In a perfect world we wouldn’t need to come out. We are far from a perfect world. It’s important for kids (especially ones living in small towns) to see representation. This whole question of why do we have to have labels really pisses me off. There’s nothing straight people would like more than to have us remain silent. We certainly don’t need people from our own community telling us it’s not important.

I appreciate the world that young people are in now- there is no hiding our LGBTQ family. We are in media, sharing our own lives through social media, and kids grow up now having seen an aspect of their queerness, which makes their experience vastly different than mine was.

The issue is that we have to keep fighting for acceptance. Our rights are being held in the slimmest of margins. And we as a community have not done nearly enough for our own POC and otherwise marginalized members of our community.

I appreciate the idea that we should not have to come out. What makes me sad and nervous is that some of that thinking is also tied into the privilege of white gays that want the fun and none of the fight.

Wasn’t defensive, just correcting your naiveté. Five others agreed with my reply. No need to take such offense about everything

Hahaha he always says he's gay. And regarding that he slept with someone's sister, maybe that's the joke and he actually slept with her (no sex)

So he’s not pan it’s just what people think he is cause even in his most recent YouTube vid he says he’s gay

His original claim to fame is coming out as a gay college wrestler and for some reason it was fairly widely circulated and he was praised a lot for that. Then it all went downhill for him mentally.

Actually, it was as a high school wrestler and was covered by Out Sports, which also announced his recruitment by Columbia University whose wrestling team had a homophobia scandal and it made for good press to have a gay athlete join the team as a means to clean up their image.

This elite Illinois high school wrestler is proudly gay

... ‘Brainless’ people typically don’t get into Ivy League schools...

He isn’t brainless and this isn’t meant to diminish him, but I don’t know that he would have gotten into Columbia if not for the wrestling scandal that ended with a suspended season the year before. Columbia Wrestling wanted to improve their image and what better way to say “we’ve changed” than recruiting an out gay guy? He probably seemed like he’d be a great fit as he is a smart guy, decent wrestler and wouldn’t stand out as ‘gay’ on the team... But the fact that he isn’t there anymore tells the story.
