Wolverine casting choice based off looks is a pretty wide margin. You could nearly put ANYONE in the role and it could work. As long as they had the right build and couldn't play for the NBA. Remember, he should always be the shortest one in the group. He shouldn't be shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Emma Frost or Storm who are both nearly or over 6ft in heels. But that can easily be corrected with the proper camera angles.

Oh sure, they could do anything. Nobody thought Hugh Jackman would be great when he was cast and that turned out well. It would be nice if they got a short hairy guy this time around though.

I remember an interview with Linden Ashby, the actor who plays Stiles' dad Sheriff Stilinski, saying the first time he shot a scene with O'Brien he talked to his wife and said "that guy is the real deal". It's no secret Dylan O'Brien was the best male young actor in the show.
