I'm not shocked. Asians value white skin more than their own lives. There's even a Chinese Proverb that's basically a love letter to white-skinned Asians/people. This is why I have negative zero confidence that I'll ever be with an Asian person.

I suppose I'm speaking from what I encounter. I'm half-Asian and I was raised in an Asian country and no, not all Asians value fair skin but good luck finding those Asians. but that's just my experience.

That I would say around 70% true. I even have met South Asian people that willing to bleach their skins to be white. But speaking from me, as a person with Vietnamese background, we’re really putting more effort into embracing other diversity of skin colour.
This is our Miss Universe and Mister Global, both of whom has found massive amount of success.
