Wondering if anyone else has seen a "straight" friend or relative on Grindr. I was visiting my uncle's house and I opened Grindr at night and messaged a guy that was super close by. Neither of us had face pics on our profile, but we exchanged faceless nudes, cock and ass pics etc. Then he finally sent a face pic and it was my uncle, who is married still to my aunt. It was crazy. I freaked out and blocked him, but I'm pretty sure he figured it out cause he's been like a little weird and flirty around me and tried to spend time alone with me , invited me to the gym a lot etc. If it wasn't for my aunt, not gonna lie, I would go for it, he is hot and hung, but I couldn't do that to my aunt.
I've seen a guy from high school that swore he was straight on grindr and tinder a few years after graduation. He had his face in his pics so it was easy to tell it was him. I didn't message him but his profiles are still active. I could always tell he's gay but he was acting straight to avoid conflict I suppose.
I have yes. Not friends per se, but definitely men I knew who claimed to be straight. Disturbing, really. Disturbing because they are living double lives full of falsehoods and deceit. Truly awful; most of the time, they are not hiding from their fears, but from their moral responsibilities; i.e. wife, children, etc. Recently peaked into Grindr (my Partner and I, who are decidedly monogamous, wanted to try something temporarily), and my oh my is that just the most awful place on earth. I thank God I am off that app.
Yes, kinda. He wasn’t my friend, but we had several mutual friends and would hang out to smoke pot from time to time and he had a girlfriend. I got a message from someone 80 feet away… he was also my neighbor. He went over that night and we continued to hook up for about 3 years (cheating on every one of his girlfriends during that time) until he moved away. At one point he even let me top him. He was an ex, and we remained friends after the relationship ended. At one point, he decided he was straight and wanted to marry and have a family. Whatever, you do you. Instead of putting the effort in and finding someone compatible and then building a relationship, he settled for some money-hungry psycho with two children. They married within three months, and whenever he was in town, I would see him on Grindr. I confronted him about it, and he said he was horny and looking for inspiration for some solo relief. Bullshit. I reminded him that I had put miles on his ass when we were together, and he was after me like a dog in heat for years after. He might be telling people that he's straight, but not a single person believes him. Whatever his reason for it didn't matter. He made a commitment to her, and a very religious one at that. In case he forgot, I officiated and signed the marriage license.

I was bullied for my sexual orientation. One of the guys bulling my decided to dry hump me in the boys locker room while we changed. He was such a homophobic ass, he liked to call me the f-word.
When a few months ago I saw him on Tinder as bi. Sent him a text on snap and, "you better watch out boy". He also called me a "gay ass (n-word)." By the way, I am blonde hair, blue eyes, and very white. Its rather funny just to know he may have liked me, or at least he is also into guys!

I have never used it or any of its kind. For just that point, I don’t people I know know what or who is in my bed. My bed my business. Other than the one story I keep adding to. But I changed to names to protect the guilty 
Yes, discovered a few I know on 2 different apps. One of them I had suspected was gay or at least bisexual. The others surprised me. But I just kept it to myself...didn't let on that I knew them. They probably would have been equally surprised to know I was on those apps.
I saw a straight friend of my brother in law on Grindr. He actually sent ne nudes and told me he wanted to bottom for me (he didn't realise who I am). He isn't out to my brother in law. Lol.
Saw my sons college roommate on Grindr one time when they came to visit. He was showing his face in his profile, but I recognized the tattoos. The roommate had a girlfriend and always made very homophobic comments. I message him (didn't share my face) and he didn't know who I was. He sent me nudes with a face pic so I knew it was him. He told me he had a girlfriend but said he has been secretly hooking up with guys. He said he liked older guys and wanted to hook up with me, but I was afraid to because I was afraid he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
