Ex-Fratpad guys, where are they now?

I wouldn’t doubt it that it’s true. I was only lucky a few times to have caught the frat guys fucking on the pad cams. I have a few of Sterling and a few of Trent. Sometimes you’d just catch them jacking off when they weren’t streaming which was always kinda hot, too.
Mind sharing one of those videos of Sterling or Trent?
Please. It'd be great seeing them in action.

You're in Nebraska, Husker, so you'd know the inside story. Thanks for sharing.

Was that the "crime"? Or was it the fact that it was porn?

Here's the character in the story I've always wondered about. Someone, presumably a gay someone, subscribed to Fratmen and took it upon himself to tattle about what he saw. Why did he have to do that? The guys should have been smart enough to figure out their JO scenes might come to light one day. I'd never want to be the one who made that happen.
Very welcome. I live nearby and have known UNL athletes personally.

As I said, it was selling an NCAA Championship prize (he said he already had an ipod so sold his prize, but the genius sold the ENGRAVED custom one), plus the parties with cops involved and subsequent write-ups by campus and athletic dept, PLUS the pics and videos for a porn site with the university logo in full view. He could have used skin-toned athletic tape, Ace bandages, or a big Band-Aid to cover it, but no. I think he had/has a chip on his shoulder of entitlement and kind of daring authority because of his looks and athletic abilities.

There always gonna be depraved and anti social people who get joy from hurting other people unfortunately. And in that sense yes. You're even more correct. These guys diving into porn for quick cash should be smarter about these potentially life altering choices they made. Youth can only be a "valid" excuse up to a point.
The thing was, I figured it out the same way the student did--I saw a HOT guy with a huge dick and was turned on and then saw his tat and immediately knew which school he went to. Then it says "Wrestling", so I looked up the roster and BOOM, there he is--National Champion in 125 pound class. No wonder his dick looks so big--he was 125 pounds and only 5'5"! I might have even seen him once and it drives me nuts because I can't remember. I only shopped in Express a couple times and it was way too pricey for me, but I kinda recall a guy working and when this blew up I found out he worked there.

Right away there were rumblings on socials (MySpace and FB only really at the time) and honestly I don't really recall where else, just that I knew it was going to blow up soon, like watching a line of gunpowder burn its way to a stack of TNT in an old Western. I was even able to find his personal email, phone number, etc. People put EVERYTHING on MS and FB then, including schedules (which FB realized was a huge safety issue and removed, but it was a feature they created and pushed when it was a site only for collegiates). I'm not a creep, so I never called or found him or anything, but I did email him (Hotmail, I recall!) and said he needed to make the site blur the tat or take it down or something before shit hit the fan. Within days, that's what happened--it was local then national news, with no shortage of "Two UNL athletes are being investigated for being on a gay porn site", which of course made many assume they were fucking each other on camera. Some would say, "The two flew out to the studio together but filmed solo videos and photoshoots", but in NE in 2007 or '08 having the #1 employer in Lincoln connected to gay porn (Brokeback was controversial and it was '05) wasn't gonna fly.

BTW, if I recall correctly, I went to the State Fair or some event after all that and went into Devaney Sports Center where concerts used to be held and saw a huge banner with his picture on it reading, "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS IN WRESTLING" or the like and thought, wow, I'd be PISSED if they still used my image to promote themselves after expelling me!

I found this quote from him: "I am straight, but on the forums people make a lot of gay jokes about me," he says. "I'm not too concerned. They can talk about me all they want, it doesn't matter. If a guy wants to be with a guy, who cares? ... "Obviously, I did it for the money. We kept thinking no one would ever find out because it was a gay website and we really wanted that money."

The thinking of a college student--not looking too far ahead or being realistic. He threw away his school, team, scholarships, etc for several thousand and a trip to LA for the up-front money. And then there was word that FM felt bad/guilty and would take the vids down or finally blur the tat, and NOPE, they made bank off the scandal and it's still online on countless sites. Which also means it's hurt him to this day, as anyone who Googles him will find ESPN vids, newspapers, web articles, the pics and vids, etc.

PS What I've always wondered was if they were going to do more. I feel like they would've been another Max/Payne willing to do stuff with each other for quick cash. Two wrestlers going at it on the bed would've been hot! Even a side-by-side. Would've been in line with FM's model.

So sorry to tell you that life and age happen! Grow up! This entire site is full of then and now pics. Here, the Sean Cody, Corbin Fisher, and other ones. He's 38 now--I had a friend balding as a college freshman and a totally bald (but hot) teacher/coach/veteran who was in his early 30's at the time. Paul has gained muscle and some fat though, so his body is better in my view. He's gone from a short, tiny 125 pounds to 140 or more.

just that I knew it was going to blow up soon

Wow! Thanks for the background info, Husker. Sounds like it wasn't a matter of IF it would blow up, but WHEN it would blow up. The guys themselves were big contributors to their own situation, as was Fratmen itself. In an ideal world, it wouldn't matter if someone shoots a porn video, but it does, and someone has to be willing to deal with any consequences.

Of the two guys, I always liked Cal/Kenny better. Nothing wrong with Paul/Nash of course.

Thank you for sharing all of this background history that goes beyond what we could read on the websites back then (and now).

Few things that I'd like to comment on:

- I cannot believe how someone in his age bracket didn't know excatly how the internet worked. Nothing about what happened to him was "leaked." Yeah, his real identity was leaked, but those pics weren't stolen from - say - a phone. It was shared. People didn't even need to buy a subscription and see the whole set to figure out it was him. They just needed to visit Fratmen and take one look to realize it was him. The fact he thought the site was just "this little thing" shows he lacked intelligence. It doesn't matter how huge or small a website is. If it's online, it's there for everyone and it just takes a few clicks.

- An educational reform in the USA is long overdue. This idea that jocks can be stupid because they win competitions is not doing anyone favors! Look: a guy in college should know how the internet works, how things get leaked, but more importantly, a jock/student should learn how to negotiate a contract even if they are not completing a business major. Don't we go to college to get jobs and have a career in the end? He should know how to negotiate! FFS the dude signed away his private info for a few thousands!!! And I truly hope the pay was indeed in the thousands ballpark. If he had put on his contract with Fratmen that they had to blur the tattoo, he could have sued their mofo asses and sat pretty for a long time back home while collecting checks from the lawsuit. Also, he never knew how to interpret the "contract" that he had signed with his university! WTF?

- He strikes me as the type that will for a long time still make questionable choices. A lot of that seems to be due to his intellect (again, something unbelievable because he went to a university! He should know better!!!). He gives off this carefree attitude and that's maybe why he appears to be so happy with his life. I dunno how much of that is just an act or reality. But if he had realized all he had going for him, I doubt it that his only choice now would be coaching newbies in a small venue. It's never good to dwell in the past and apparently he does not do that, but dude did something bad to himself for a ridiculous amount of money.

- BTW does anyone here know how much money he made on that Fratmen gig?

- He knew he was good looking and he knew he had a big dick. He should have gone to Playgirl instead. Back then the magazine was still a thing and he could have scored the money, a cover, and the more prestigious position that the magazine offered. Playgirl was seen as something tasteful, not a place for straight guys to jack off for cash. I personally know someone who did Playgirl back in the day and today he's very successful in the real state business and whenever the naked essay is brought up, people remark he was a model. See? That's the difference: posing for something with production values trumps jacking off for a check.

Either way, he does not deserve to be humiliated for his work for Fratmen. If anything, he was professional and did what he was supposed to do. He was exploited by the university, exploited by Fratmen that cashed on the whole scandal, and he was exploited by people whose sole purpose was trying to humiliate him. Very bad! No wonder the world is fucked up.

Why’d you have to ruin my image of him. I grew up fantasizing about the hot Abercrombie clean-cut dudes. And then you posted these pics?! Blah!
Why do you feel the need to post your miserable, mean spirited comments on the internet? Are you some Mr World? A top model we dunno about?

I bet Paul at 68 will still look better than you ever managed to look your entire life.

"Thank you for sharing all of this background history that goes beyond what we could read on the websites back then (and now)." You're very welcome. The fact that I was actually on the UNL campus in 2005-2007 (not as a student, but for performances, visiting the art gallery, eating at places on campus, having a sister who worked there, etc) and he was also there drives me crazy cuz he's one of my favorites on FM and he was RIGHT THERE! I might have become a stalker though. LOL--I still think I saw him one time in the mall.

- "I cannot believe how someone in his age bracket didn't know exactly how the internet worked."
Truth. He's 1.5 years younger than I am and that much more immersed in it. When I started college there was no Facebook, but it came early in college for him. He also knew eyes were on him because he had write-ups in publications in print and online in HS and even more in college and winning a national title (in which he beat the #1, #2 AND #3 wrestlers in the nation in his class) and was already on TV and such for that. He also didn't understand how gay porn worked then. If he did the same videos on a straight site he'd be lost in an ocean of content; in 2008 a handful of companies OWNED gay porn and since so many had to hide it, they went online for it (like me) since we had to be closeted. That means a huge online community was watching a few sites and he was much more likely to stick out. How many straight porn stars (esp. the men) can straight guys name? Now how many Fratmen/Sean Cody/CF men can gay guys remember by name? Exactly.

- "An educational reform in the USA is long overdue. This idea that jocks can be stupid because they win competitions is not doing anyone favors!"
Unfortunately, this will likely never happen. It does the university MASSIVE favors to have winning athletes (and they largely don't give a shit about academics or arts because those don't get any money in America, so it gets the university no money). UNL just built a facility JUST for football. $165 MILLION for a team that hasn't gone to a championship in ages--over 25 years!!! And it's only for one men's sport! They revamped Devaney for the volleyball team for millions. Why give a shit if someone can't spell their own name if they make bank? Without sports, UNL crumbles, despite excellent education and arts and facilities to boot.

- "He strikes me as the type that will for a long time still make questionable choices. But if he had realized all he had going for him, I doubt it that his only choice now would be coaching newbies in a small venue."
He'd be coaching for UNL or any school he wanted and coaches MAKE BANK. Million dollar contracts, free house, free car, etc. At UNL coaches used to have the money, a free golf club membership, free car, car for their wife, etc. It was unethical and disgusting. I think they cut the spousal benefits but the cash is high and a house is still given to at least football coaches. It interrupted his academic progress and had impacts I guarantee far outweigh the several thousand he was paid. Honestly, I'm not shocked another school snatched him up immediately, but I am surprised he's coaching boys. If you were a parent who saw your son's coach jacking off online for a gay site (or any), might you have reservations?

Oh, and I have to save the best for last. His major? SOCIOLOGY. He literally studied human behavior in class every day and thought his actions would have no consequences but trips to LA and cash and bragging rights as a "porn star" when he could have been a well-paid sociologist. I guess he graduated college, but not with a soc degree that I can tell.
