Not wanting to ignite a whole straight/bi/gay/gay-for-pay debate here. I think Payne and Max did that scene for some laughs and, obviously, for a paycheck. Sometimes there's just nothing more to it than that.

Obviously I have nothing against religious people that practice their faith alone. I do have contempt for the kind of religious person that will preach on social media though, especially with those stories of "I had a questionable past" and then blurt out a bunch of nonsense to attest they're saved and will enter heaven when they pass. It depends on the original footage. If it has a decent enough resolution, and little compression, new gen AI models can work wonders. I personally haven't checked out those vids though.
