I started following gay porn producer Jason Mark on TikTok a while back because he’s always happy to answer peoples questions about the business very candidly. Turns out he was also involved in Fratpad! I bet he’d respond if you reached out with questions about behind the scenes stuff.
Shut up, Jasun (@jasunmark) | TikTok
Yes, thank you! Fratmen was Jasun's first job in the adult industry, coming down from Canada to start as a part-time editor for John in January of 2005, then taking over marketing in May. (I honestly think he's the reason why Fratpad ever saw the light of day; he was very proactive in connecting with affiliates and online communities.) He spent a lot of time at the Fratpad when it launched and would be a sort of caretaker for the models before Fratmen shoots, introducing them to the town, taking them to get haircuts and go shopping, things like that. It seemed like he loved meeting people and just chatting. I've really come to like Jasun for everything I've seen about him, he seems like a really great guy.
(I also theorize that he invented Fratpad Fridays and the brand "Fratmen SUCKS!", because that name is just so good and absolutely Jasun's sense of humor. The first ever Fratmen Sucks DVD came out around August 21st, 2008, so Jasun was still there and was the one who announced it to the forums. As the marketing manager, he had to deal with constant heckling and harassment from people who thought Fratpad was stupid, so it just seems too perfect, and the double-entendre is beautiful. He definitely did invent the infamous Jack Off Race, Ricky v Kent being the first on February 9th, 2007.)
Unfortunately though, Jasun moved on from Fratmen/Fratpad in September of 2008, moderating his last FMTV show on September 21st (it was a Taylor show), and some of what he says now about Fratpad can even sometimes be slightly off; I think it's just been a while. He also never set foot in the Pad after it moved from the second Hollywood unit to "Fiji" (it was Maui, but John and the Fratmen always say it was Fiji even after they left). Jasun's of course an awesome source of information for what the early days were like and what his whole experience was, so talking with him is definitely on my agenda if I ever get out of my "fly-on-the-wall" phase of research... Thank you for the tip, I appreciate it!

Ikr! Some time ago I thought to buy some Gage videos (because he's my favorite model there) and just found out the site was gone. Now I don't think there's any place to get the videos from thereSad because the site is gone, i used to search models there
this is the last remaining, missing piece. I've only ever seen it via a screenshot but it obviously must exist somewhere & I am determined to see it as well. I'll happily chip in to pay if anyone has it somewhereI’m just gonna place out bounty out again for the Casey Mick Max PPV. I’m willing to pay for it. If anybody has it please DM me.

It's the "SOULMATES?" duo which streamed live on August 1st, 2009. It essentially marked Jayden and Shay's return to the Pad (they were both back by mid-July), as the Pad had been without either of them since I believe the end of May. (Shay had been gone since early April, possibly going to Australia...? He made some comment about going to Australia and then left lol so I can't actually claim anything, but I guess it's possible.) People at the time felt the absence of both these Fratmen, but especially Jayden, whom some members dubbed an "instigator" for his general flirtatiousness, his mind for crafting sensual shows, and his natural talents as an adult entertainer. Without any sort of "instigator" at the Pad, some members felt that the Pad lost that feeling like anything could happen.
Then sure, people were mostly disappointed with this duo, from what I've seen... But it marks this era of the pair of them living in the primary suite together just being boyfriends, so I like it for that reason.![]()
