Yes, thank you! Fratmen was Jasun's first job in the adult industry, coming down from Canada to start as a part-time editor for John in January of 2005, then taking over marketing in May. (I honestly think he's the reason why Fratpad ever saw the light of day; he was very proactive in connecting with affiliates and online communities.) He spent a lot of time at the Fratpad when it launched and would be a sort of caretaker for the models before Fratmen shoots, introducing them to the town, taking them to get haircuts and go shopping, things like that. It seemed like he loved meeting people and just chatting. I've really come to like Jasun for everything I've seen about him, he seems like a really great guy.
(I also theorize that he invented Fratpad Fridays and the brand "Fratmen SUCKS!", because that name is just so good and absolutely Jasun's sense of humor. The first ever Fratmen Sucks DVD came out around August 21st, 2008, so Jasun was still there and was the one who announced it to the forums. As the marketing manager, he had to deal with constant heckling and harassment from people who thought Fratpad was stupid, so it just seems too perfect, and the double-entendre is beautiful. He definitely did invent the infamous Jack Off Race, Ricky v Kent being the first on February 9th, 2007.)
Unfortunately though, Jasun moved on from Fratmen/Fratpad in September of 2008, moderating his last FMTV show on September 21st (it was a Taylor show), and some of what he says now about Fratpad can even sometimes be slightly off; I think it's just been a while. He also never set foot in the Pad after it moved from the second Hollywood unit to "Fiji" (it was Maui, but John and the Fratmen always say it was Fiji even after they left). Jasun's of course an awesome source of information for what the early days were like and what his whole experience was, so talking with him is definitely on my agenda if I ever get out of my "fly-on-the-wall" phase of research... Thank you for the tip, I appreciate it!
Oops edit: Fratmen was his *second job in the adult industry, Jasun has said he worked one job in the industry in Canada but wanted to get away from Toronto to find a better climate for his motorcycle. I hate to be spreading misinformation... I do love that for all these young Fratmen, many of them coming from rural towns with no great impressions of queer people, they got to meet this wonderful gay metalhead biker and throw all preconceived notions out the window.
